I need help cutting this deck down to 100 cards. My Commander is Godo, Bandit Warlord and I need to cut 11 cards, I do not want to go bellow 38 lands. Other sugestions are also welcome. The deck has a sub theme of EtB effects.
1. I do not want some cheesy 'I winn' cards (like Insurrection ). 2. I don't want to winn with combo. 3. I try to keep tutoring very low as I like the high RnG of commander. Obviusly Godo ignores this, as I really think he is cool. I also wanne try out the mogcatcher package because goblins are fun.
I also do not like to run out of gass, so I try to have a healthy amount of card draw in the deck, as well as mana rocks to get going.
Lot I could say here since Godo is my first and oldest EDH deck from over 10 years ago. I can't comment too much on the cuts since our decks are very different, but at first glance you might cut a few creatures maybe? My main theme is extreme artifact ramp to play the commander and big dragons.
Sword of Light and Shadow is an all-star for recurring creatures from the yard. It's a huge value play that also protects again very common removal colors.
I've played Godo off an on for a few years. Its a very fun general.
Im not a fan of Cauldron of Souls. I imagine using it to target all of my guys and then sacrifice them but I'm not seeing a free sacrifice outlet. I would cut Humble Defector for the same reasoning. Its awesome if you can sacrifice but not if you cant.
I would cut Memory Jar, your curve is very heavy in the 3 and 4 range. You probably cannot empty the extra hand very easily and thus waste the cards. I think that if you were to play this deck 100 or more games you would see this play out more.
Taurean Mauler can get really big but your deck should have no shortage of huge guys with all the equipment.
I don't like Bonehoard. I think that making creatures evasive is always better than making them large.
I tried not to make too many suggestions but these are the cards I could easily cut if it was my deck. I also think there is a little too much ETB copying and that one or two cards that fall into that category could be cut. Erratic Portal comes to mind because its one of the most expensive to use. I also dont like Twinflame as its a one shot effect and you already have permanent based copying. Its rate is okay depending on what you can copy but it isnt my favorite. I will leave you with two suggestions:
Outpost Siege is a great source of card advantage in mono-red. Sword of Feast and Famine is one of the best cards in this format. Its almost like taking an extra turn if you can trigger it reliably.

Sword of Light and Shadow is an all-star for recurring creatures from the yard. It's a huge value play that also protects again very common removal colors.
Sword of Feast and Famine generates a ton of mana if it's on Godo and also creates infinite combats with Hellkite Charger if you have enough mana.
If your meta is strongly opposed to poison counters I would strongly suggest adding Grafted Exoskeleton for the quick kills it can generate with Godo.

Sword of Feast and Famie would help a lot with the mana. Giving me all my lands times 3 if I can land 2 hits. Unfortunatly I do not have one.

Darksteel Sentinel seems low impact for 6 mana.

Palladium Myr should be Worn Powerstone or just cut. Its good ramp, but very fragile.
Journeyer's Kite is another low impact card that ties up a lot of mana.
Infiltration Lens should be Skullclamp or just cut.
