So there are dozens of easy 2 or 3 card combo's in this format, and some are just far more reliable and optimal at closing out a game than others. I get very bored with the monotony of a repeatedly seen or common combo although, so when looking for a new combo deck to fiddle with, I always try to find something a little bit unique and bizarre.
A buddy opened a foil one with this new fancy artwork from an eternal masters pack, and I quickly nabbed it up. I love 'belcher, and have maintained a (partially proxie) legacy 'belcher list for a very long time.
If you are unfamiliar with what a legacy 'belcher list looks like, check out my last list below. This is a pretty average brew;
Translating that over to EDH although is an entirely different story. We can't rely on land grant and 1x land to ever effectively start the game, and as a singleton format there just isn't enough free mana rituals to jump start any mana rocks. Thus, we have to find a new way to remove all lands from our decks;
Endless Horizonsdoes work, but limits us to mostly mono-white, unless you pile in a crap load of tangos/shocks/duals to support another color or two. Including fetch lands makes endless horizons fail. Leaning a combo deck mostly white seems just painful, so Mana Severance is our only realistic solution here.
This combo could be assembled with any blue/x deck, and I'm choosing grixis here. Grixis is my favorite 3-color combination (no yucky white/green barf), and actually lends to this strategy the best. Black for tutors and a few wipes, red for some recursion, and blue for the needed mana severance.
Gwendlyn Di Corci is here for a semi-distraction, and to ward off some early aggro. I fell in love with her ages ago, and have used her extensively for various decks (mostly 1v1 grixis control, djinn tribal, clone tribal, good-stuff, etc). She can quickly strip apart the opponents hands when using untap antics like pemmin's aura/freed from the real/Minamo, School at Water's Edge/etc. But for multi-player that doesn't work out so well. With the mana-rocks to help ramp, here she is being used as a decent distraction/annoyance, with her lush phat arse warding off aggro. With 8 2-cmc rocks and very few tap-lands, she should come out on turn-3 regularly.
The deck has a pile of spell-based goodstuff and recursion to help maintain mana severance, so I thought bribery and rite of replication would be the two best alternate win-cons if our combo is impossible to assemble. This may change later as I playtest more.
While tezzeret the seeker is here to mainly tutor goblin charbelcher to play, he can also be used to untap it for a second activation. Untapping 'belcher is the same reason a single time warp is still in the deck. If the combo seems to be fairly easy to assemble then maybe even more universal untap effects (that could help Gwendlyn) like fatestitcher could be added.
Welp, this is another cheesy 2-card combo. This one does not instantly kill an entire table although, and seems pretty amusing to try and make goblin charbelcher work in EDH. I'm sure this has been done before, but I havn't given it a go yet. Let's see how this works
Enter goblin charbelcher!

If there is anyone at the table that is likely to extract/counterspell/krosan grip/return to dust our combo parts, then we can point Gwendlyn's ability at them.
