Why Silas and Vial Smasher?
After playing a lot of games with just Silas Renn and having a decent amount of success, I felt that the deck was missing something. While I still wanted Silas at the helm, I needed some of the strength that red gives and so I've added Vial Smasher as I feel that Vial Smasher is much stronger than Kraum or Ludevic.
How does the deck win?
We can win through a variety of different ways such as Inkmoth, commander damage, creature damage or Marionette Master's life loss ability.
I look forward to any feedback and thoughts that people have. I'm also looking forward to Aether Revolt and all the goodies that it potentially has for this list.
I can't imagine anyone playing any trinket support with black in it that doesn't have Nihil Spellbomb in it. It's a trinket that draws cards and very importantly nukes graveyards.
Artifact lands are good if you want your trinket package to get or recur lands.
Mirrorworks is a great card but your list might not have enough density of high-impact stuff to justify the extra 2 to pay for copies.
I built Grixis artifacts but I did it with Marchesa, the Black Rose because it just adds insane resilience to the strategy.
Mirrorworks really isn't the way that I'm aiming to go with this list but I do appreciate the feedback regarding Nihil Spellbomb and the artifact lands. Vandalblast is a bit of a concern of course as the incidental stone rain can't be offset by Silas (Since they're not spells) but I'll give them a shot anyway.
