If you're just trying to make this win as many games as possible, you might get more replies/tips if you just posted on this thread: swift2110's rafiq thread instead. He emphasizes low mana cost and speed, which is the pillar of competitive formats. Your goal seems to be the same as his, even though your playgroup might be different. Since your goal is the same and you're not building a particularly new deck, it's much better to just build on knowledge that others have already laid out. Rafiq is a heavily played general. It's unlikely there's anything new/unknown about building a Rafiq deck.
If you want to win as many games as possible, exalted is just not a mechanic to build around.
