I've finally settled on using MTGO for playing. Now I just have to settle on a commander once and for all. Between Vorel, Roon, Jenara, and Brago...{sigh} Might as well get the Roon deck dealt with.
One of the things I'm worried about is theme cohesion--namely, is my plan too dilute? My plan with Roon used to be persist-involved, until I realized just how few persist cards I actually had charted in the end. So now my attempt at a theme is control+toolbox, although there's still a bit of persist to make EtB utilization easier.
--Counterspell presence. No way are Mystic Snake and Familiar's Ruse going to be enough. I have an idea of a few counterspells to vector in (Hinder, Hindering Light, Render Silent, to start with), but not much idea of what should be kicked out. Maybe Cloud Key (which would be set to creatures, obviously), but I'm not sure what else.
--Tutors. Just Wargate is, again, probably not enough for justification. Only annoyance is that there's only two other tutors coming to mind for me, Chord of Calling and Eladamri's Call. There's also the question of whether tutors are merited in the first place.
--Redundancy? For instance, finding a way to have both Icefall Regent and the slightly cheaper Dungeon Geists in here.
--Maintaining a consistent theme. As I mentioned above, this is the big one. I know I'm not content with a mere "good stuff" deck; I want everything to be cohesive, and I'm not sure I accomplished that, that I might have fallen prey to a "good stuff" mentality.
--Reducing average casting cost. The other big one. Doing simulated hands on uMagic has me a little worried on how easily I can get things out. At the very least, I'd like to get Knight of the White Orchid in here, since it only costs WW.

--Soulbond. Thus far, I only have Elgaud Shieldmate and Deadeye Navigator for that subtheme. I can't decide whether to cull the Shieldmate entirely, or try to expand the soulbond subtheme (e.g. Silverblade Paladin, Wingcrafter, Wolfir Silverheart).
