I've made the decision to keep this as purely tribal as possible, so many of the usual suspects are not in here. That said, I am iffy on a finisher, so I could easily rationalize Divinity of Pride being added. As it stands, I have few ways to deliver deathblows, but may end up picking away, instead.
The land count (40) is more than I typically run, but given a lack of manarocks, might be necessary. Still, some basics will be the first cards cut when it comes to changes. Note that Starlit Sanctum is in the mail, and Godless Shrine is on my wantlist.
My only tutor is Academy Rector, because it is a Cleric (and new for me). I am avoiding others because they eat up time as every single card gets read by whomever is borrowing my deck at the time, as well as defeating the purpose of this being a singleton format.
This color-combination provides some of the best removal in any format; so my theme has faltered in this area. It is also a pairing I rarely get to use, so I have jammed in some questionable cards that I own, simply because I rarely get the chance to use them.
That said, I won't get to playtest for at least a week...
I finally got to playtest this deck and am changing up accordingly.
Game 1 - 7 players; Ayli won because the Heartless Hidetsugu player miscounted lands when casting Acidic Soil and finished everyone but me. Rector was awesome, but overall draw and punch was lacking, but I had land for days. We realized that Syndic of Tithes appears to be holding a plate of chicken nuggets and made awful jokes, accordingly.
Game 2 - a 5-player, 3-hour slog; lack of draw and too much land again shone through. The deck's removal contributed to the slog (also at table were Mimeoplasm, Meren, Noyan Dar, and Teferi), with a late game Withered Wretch adding an extra hour to things as it ate all the creatures in graveyards. In the end, Meren won.
Clerics are pretty versatile and offer a lot of good abilities... Indestructible, hand hate, taxes, removal, lifegain, damage prevention, recursion, protection, and plenty of random cards that help or hose different strategies.
Starlit Sanctum was in the mail when I posted the decklist; it has since arrived and been added. Bojuka Bog not being in is an oversight in the lands and will be corrected.
I have most of the cards you suggest, Last Laugh, though Auriok Champion is out of my price range (unless it's in Eternal Masters...).
Ideally, I get to play this weekend, so will update the main post, then.
Thank you, both!
Cheers!
Edit: trading today was a bust for this deck, but I did make some changes nonetheless, and Soltari Visionary did wonders.
After more small changes - notably adding Bygone Bishop - I feel this deck is as close to finished as my decks get. Bygone Bishop proved its worth immediately, netting me over 10 clues before time ran out and I had to leave the game early.
This is quite the grindy, controllish deck. Had I the time, I could have stretched the game another hour with cards in hand, hopefully drawing into a win. But that same long timeframe makes me want to break down the deck for parts.
Cheers!

Changes - out go 4 land, in comes more draw and something that wins. Necropotence, Ambition's Cost, Divinity of Pride, and Pontiff of Blight.

Also for clerics, look into Soltari Visionary for enchantment removal on a stick, Auriok Champion for good lifegain with relevant protections, Bygone Bishop for card draw which mono white lacks, Containment Priest to hose reanimator, Eight-and-a-Half-Tails if you run into lots of spot removal or burn, Devoted Caretaker again to avoid removal and burn, both Mikaeus', and if you decide to run more artifacts and enchantments look into Fountain Watch.
