I have been kicking around some Narset, Enlightened Master deck ideas for a little while and decided i would like to try an Aura package in it. There are loads of examples of Voltron Narest decks out there and while i take some elements from those i don't want to go down that road. Also there are many enchantment based pillow fort decks out there and while i'll take some elements from those decks i don't want to go pure pillow fort.
Ideally i would be able to pivot between a control/value/voltron plan throughout the game.
After some brainstorming here: i have put the following list together:
Some notable omissions Treachery - When i find one i'll add it. Eldrazi Conscription - When i find one i'll add it. Serra's Sanctum - I think they have gone way up in price, might just avoid it. Enlightened Tutor - My group frowns upon powerful tutors but i might sneak it in anyways. Sensei's Divining Top - The single most hated card in my group. Wont ever run it.
Notes about my group:
Wraths are pretty sparse so i figure only once-twice a game will Narest get wrathed.
Pure combo decks are also rare so i don't need many (or any) hard counters.
Vows are pretty effective and people tend to enjoy getting their creatures Vow'd, one of the reasons i went the Aura route.
Anyway let me know what y'all think and i am open to all suggestions (except top)
Smoke! Now that is a sneaky one. I'll add that to my pile. I am going to swap in and out a bunch of enchantments to try and sort out the best mix. One worry with Smoke is it will get the table mad at me which isn't situation i would want to be in.
The Mana rocks need some work for sure. Worn Powerstone probably is a good one as well as it gets a turn 4 general.
Playing Narset typically turns you into public enemy number 1 anyways lol. They should be a bit more forgiving after a few games when they realize this isn't running extra turn or combat spells though.

In Progress
GBIshkanah, Grafwidow ~ BWGRTymna the Weaver & Tana, the Bloodsower ~ UGRashmi, Eternities Crafter ~ RGAtarka, World Render
Also for your mana rocks, stick to ones that cost 1-2 with your only 3 drop rocks producing more than 1 Mana i.e. Coalition Relic
