I finally completed rebuilding my very first EDH deck, Glissa. When I first heard about EDH, Scars of Mirrodin was just revealed. I was looking and looking for my first General to break into a new format. When I first seen Glissa I knew it was my chance to finally play. I loved Green Black, I loved Rock in general. Spiritmonger and Pernicious Deed was two of my favorite cards of all time, and Casual play was dying locally in place of the EDH takeover. I also loved the Voracious Cobra design of Glissa and the ability to recur one of my favorite cards: Mindslaver. So it was set, I started the build. After about a month or so I had the first design of the deck done and started playing.
The deck did everything I liked, Draw cards, tutor, destroy permanents, everything. I played the deck and only that deck until the Commander products came out and decided it was time for a change. For no reason did I dislike the deck, just wanted something new and I really couldn't afford two decks at the time so I had to scrap and trade pieces for newer pieces for my new deck Kaalia of the Vast.
I went on to build several different edh decks, even pimped a few, always regretting I took apart this deck. Glissa was not overpowered or too weak. It was just right for me in a casual setting. So I decided to sell off a lot of my collection and I rebuilt my first deck, again. This time, more up to date and a tad more competitive. AND I can finally say I foiled out the deck that got me into this format that I love. The deck is to be tweaked as I play it more, but for now, this is the current list:
Also, Memory Jar is a great card draw for Glissa too.
Definitely considered Triangle of War, I was going to also try Thornbite Staff. I like Memory Jar as well, it was in my original listing but every time I used it, it always backfired and helped my opponents...:(
I never liked Memory Jar, either. Either you pay five mana, and gimp what you can do with the cards you draw for the turn, or you pay the five and don't use it until next turn which is equally uninspiring. Plus you're still giving free hands to your enemies. IMO I'd rather just run Necropotence if I wanted more draw, probably in the Moriok Replica slot. IMO it's too much work with that card for the draw; it's just trying too hard to be cute with Glissa when you could just pay three mana once and refill your hand whenever you need.
Triangle of War is indeed a monster BUT I'm running deathtouch tribal, so I've always got a convenient dude ready to fight and kill another dude. It would probably work well enough here, though.
I stopped running Horizon Spellbomb for Wayfarer's Bauble. IMO the extra cost to draw didn't offset actually ramping the land into play. That's probably more a personal playstyle thing than a "A is better than B" thing though.
I do like Moriok Replica as its another way to use Grave Pact type effects. I also love Wayfarer's Bauble, I just couldn't find a reasonably priced foil at the moment.

I did some checking up on the Triangle of War you basicly have to sac Glissa if you want to kill a bigger creature cause the first strike ability only works in combat. Making this a ver expansive way to kill a creature. Being that the commander tax is cumilative and can make Glissa extrodonary epansive to play.
I would like to recommand Viridian Longbow and Thornbite Staff both remove creatures and in combination it whipes boards for free.
Yeah, That's what I was thinking. If I end up using any of the three it will be Thornbite.
In other news, I managed to find a Wayfarer's Bauble and a Scroll Rack. I think they will be great additions as Wayfarer's Bauble could replace a bigger ramp spell like Ranger's Path. I think Scroll Rack will be great as I sometimes have bigger spells in my hand early in game so it won't hurt put them on top or get them later if shuffled.
