Hi, there. I recently made a Sharuum EDH deck, but I kind of feel like I'm flying blind here. I've tried the deck out and find that I do like the various interactions. However, I've run into several problems:
1. I often find that I simply don't have enough mana to pull something off as quickly as I want.
2. I feel like maybe the deck is trying to do a little too much.
3. More tutors for higher efficiency.
4. Possibly too many creatures??
When I put the deck together, my thought was to create a deck that could quickly build up a strong board presence for either offensive or defensive measures. At the same time, it has a little utility and disruption to allow me to maintain an edge against my opponents.
Ethersworn Canonist- It can really mess with my opponents, but I find it messes with me a little too much, as well.
Grand Architect- Part of a combo with Pili-Pala. It just doesn't come up that often and I kind of feel like it could be replaced with something more productive.
Notion Thief- It's abilities are nice but it usually gets killed long before it can be any use and I have other draw/tutor power.
Dissipation Field/Propaganda: Good defensive cards but seem like in the end that don't do as much unless gotten out early.
I'm rather new to these colors and play style. As such, I don't really know what I can really try do to do improve the deck. Any observations, recommendations or general advice would be appreciated.
