I finally got my Meren of Clan Nel Toth deck put together and got a few games in with it today and it did very well won 2 of 3 games I played. And even won through a Cyclonic Rift and about six copies of Prophet of Kruphix due to Progenitor Mimic. But ya the deck has been very fun to play so far.
And I'm not sure what I want to take out for the Broodmaster but I feel I could find something better to lower the curve of the deck. Also the one non Creature in the deck is the Deadbridge Chant and I kinda want to try Tooth and Nail perhaps not sure.

Have you tried Spore Frog? I'm looking at building Meren and Spore Frog looks like a savage piece of tech. He sacks himself and can be recurred easily with Meren, acting as a form of control where fleshbag and friends fail. There are a couple of creature boardwipes that might be interesting. Massacre Wurm and Havoc Demon seem interesting, and the former can double as a win condition. So far as cuts, Taunting Elf and Blind Zealot seem weak, but I could be wrong. I love these challenges because I get to look at cards I might not have considered. Hope this helped.

Taunting Elf has actually been awesome at breaking board stalls that the all creature deck gets into. And Blind Zealot haven't got a chance to play with it yet cause I haven't drawn it but that card could be either or not really sure yet. I would like to try Spore Frog but I'll have to try and trade for one or just purchase it but that's the reason I wasn't running it.
Linvala, keeper of silence would do it if you're in white and quite handily. Otherwise, your best bet is preventing your stuff from being targeted in the first place. Archetype of endurance is the best answer. Since it requires a creature with undying (which means hits the graveyard) then holding mana up with a scavenger ooze will stop it, too, or a withered wretch. However, you'd better have a lot of mana and can protect it for a bit until that happens. You can also just remove the creature. Duplicant does a pretty good job on either part of that little combo. Best yet, all are creature based answers of which many you should be running anyways.
The Demon and Dragon will not work as intended due to them having to be cast. Not saying you can't do that, but 7+ mana is a ton and needs to win you the game.
Ya I may pick up a Duplicant over the holidays and ya I know the demons won't work outta the yard but it was just another option but i feel my meta is wrath heavy enough that I shouldn't need to run them.
I've been tempted to run the butcher he is really great with the fleshbag Marauder that's for sure. And Sheoldred is a bit expensive both mana and money. My list of 10$+ cards keeps going up. Lol
This is to help me strip combo pieces from certain Decks proactively to prevent shenanigans. And with some luck and colors aligning up I could pontentially cast my opponents combos against them lol
