Building this entirely from my collection at the moment so that I can pilot it against one of my friends on Wednesday. As such the card choices are often sub-optimal but this can't be helped.
Would like some suggestions for cheap cards I could add to the deck.
(EDIT: Been cut down... had 108 cards in the deck including only 10 lands. Not good.
I have a casual 1v1 Yasova deck, and I really recommend running some cheap and efficient sac outlets like Claws of Gix and Ashnod's Altar to prevent giving your opponent's dudes back.

Not sure how many basics I should have considering how new I am to the format.

I usually go for between 30 and 35 lands (basics and non-basics combined) in my decks, depending on how much mana I need and how much ramp/artifact-mana I'm running. Given that you have a landfall subtheme going on (and also a bunch of expensive beaters), I'd aim for the high end of that or even a little higher. Maybe 22 or 23 basics in addition to your nonbasics and your ramp package.
Have you had a chance to play it yet? How did it go?
I had one more thought: Given the direction you're taking the deck (Landfall/Ramp-into-Fatties) and how little blue you are running, have you considered swapping out Yasova as a commander for Omnath, Locus of Rage? You can get a copy for about 2 dollars and he seems a lot more synergistic with your current list.

I also don't see what Impact Tremors, Sabretooth Outrider, Heir of the Wilds, Snapping Gnarlid, Lifegift, Territorial Baloth, Fanatic of Xenagos, Slab Hammer, Shatterskull Recruit and Magmatic Chasm are really doing for you. At a minimum, I would look at cutting all of those and adding either things that synergize with Yasova or are just strong on their own (like Control Magic, for example). Mostly, I think your deck is trying to do too many things and needs to focus. The lifegain cards and the landfall cards particularly just don't seem that useful to your main plan.
And Berserkers' Onslaught is sort of a nonbo with Yasova, since it doesn't actually pump her power.

Just so you know, Slab Hammer is in to: a) boost a creature, and b) give me a guaranteed Landfall activation the next turn.
