Hello all! this is my first post, let alone decklist so apologies in advance for anything that might seem unconventional.
INTRODUCTION
This is my third EDH deck, my first two being Azami, Lady of Scrolls and Karador, Ghost Chieftain. As you can see, I'm a fan of combos. Being that along with having a serious love for Elves and getting some ideas from a friend, I decided to take a stab at making a Rhys combo deck. The deck is not based around it's more popular token theme, however it's main focus is to use a mana producer such as Priest of Titania and generate infinite mana with a card such as Umbral Mantle and having 4+ elves in play. Then (most likely on the same turn) using that mana into a sink such as Ezuri, Renegade Leader or Genesis Wave to attack for infinite power. I'll explain the combo's and card choices below, but first the list.
Granted there are only 3 main combos (that I can think of at the moment), this deck has the ability to be pretty consistent since there are multiple ways to hit each combo or a win con. I'm either drawing into the combo pieces, or tutoring for them quite easily. So far the only issues I've met with the deck is disruption. Without Grand Abolisher or Privileged Positioning the combo is easily disruptable. The deck consistently wins on turn 4 or 5, which is mediocre in a competitive scene especially when facing a deck with cheap/efficient spot removal. Ultimately I'd like for this deck to be competitive, however I don't see it winning any quicker than turn 3.
I created this post on my lunch break so it was rushed, I'll try my best to edit at a later time. Any suggestions for the deck or post, please comment!
Staff of domination - you forgot this. This is win con and untapper in one (requires more mana per tap though).
Maze of Ith - protect yourself when you are not comboing and this + Argothian Elder + 1 more arbitrary land is infinite mana (add deserted temple for untap any number of attacking creatures)
Weathered wayfarer - t1: land wayfarer, t2: fetch land if you start to allow t2 tutor. Getting cradle speeds you up a lot.
Wirewood symbiote - combo untap effect with mirror entity + partly protection for elves + untap creatures for 1 mana with rhys (can also do it x times where x is the number of players)
Wild pair - Combo kills with any 1/1 over a turn with rhys in play: play 1/1 -> fetch Wirewood Symbiote -> return and play rhys -> fetch Priest of titania -> return rhys in oppeonts turn -> play rhys and fetch Mirror entity

Since you are a fan of combos, here's one you may want to consider adding since you got the elf thing going on:
Midnight Guard + Presence of Gond
Infinite elf warriors. Who knew the Midnight Guard could be so dangerous?
If that wasn't bad enough, here are some others cards that enhance it further:
Enjoy!
