DECK CREATION

Originally, I wanted to build a deck around fear, intimidate, landwalk, and protection. However, my immediate next thought was two things:

I wanted a commander that would easily deal combat damage on its own,
and that would be difficult to remove.

The obvious answer was Raguel, G-D's Vengeance. This made all the aforementioned keywords largely irrelevant due to Akroma's built-in abilities.

This is my third mono-W deck to date, with the first's focus on mass removal and the second's around equipment. Here, I strike a balance between the two. The primary focus of this deck is "can't touch this."
