Hey everyone, I just built this deck maybe a month ago and its playing okay but not great. My main strategy is to get my big stuff like the eldrazi in the graveyard quick and bring it back, however I want to make the deck more playable. I don't want to have to rely on that strategy or be lost if I cant get it done quick enough. Any coments, suggestions, or criticisms are welcome.
There were a couple of things I noticed that could use some tweeking:
Your Ramp Package: You don't have a lot of ramp to support your curve. You have way too many high CMC cards and no way to get to them. I suggest you should cut anything that is 8 mana or over and replace it with ramp. You should add 4-5 ramp spells to help our your curve. Some spells you can include are Nature's Lore, Cultivate, Kodama's Reach, Sakura-Tribe Elder, Wood Elves, Skyshroud Claim, and Birds of Paradise. These are just a few of the cards you can add for your ramp package.
Tajuru Preserver: This seems a little out of place in this deck. If you were looking for an effect like this, Sigarda, Host of Herons would be a stronger choice overall. But I feel this should be the slot where you fight against counter magic instead of sac effects. I would recommend Grand Abolisher instead.
Myojin of Life's Web: Cheating creatures into play is fun, but this is a dud for two reasons. One: it can't be reanimated for profit due to the divinity counter. In addition, you don't have enough creatures so that when you actually get her on the field from your hand that you can change the board state. I just think this should come out.
Zombify: Unburial Rites has much more reach and is a better reanimation spell overall. Zombify is one mana less, but Unburial Rites can be used twice.
Nissa, World Waker: This was an interesting card. I've never seen her net profit in non-mono green decks. I think Garruk Wildspeaker is the better choice. For one less mana, you get two less lands to untap, but any type of land instead of Forests, which means you can abuse utility lands, Cabal Coffers and other. His -1 can give you a creature instead of making your land a dude. His final is also more realistic and easier to reach than Nissa, but can also help the team swing for lethal.
Eldrazi cards in general: I was wondering about your choice for Eldrazi. I feel like if you're going to be running creatures with that high of a mana curve, they should have more of an impact. Cards like Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Ashen Rider, Avenger of Zendikar, and other cards just bring more weight than the Eldrazi.
Reanimate, Animate Dead, Necromancy: If you want more reanimation spells, you should start with the smaller spells so you can bring your creatures into play faster. Consider these cards.
