Hello there! I'd like to present you with my current favourite EDH deck, starring Kumano, Master Yamabushi. This deck is straightforward and easy to play. The game plan is as follows:
1. Make lots of mana.
2. Convert the mana into damage.
3. Damage kills opponents.
4. You win the game.
You can also equip Kumano with cards like Basilisk Collar, Sword of Kaldra and Quietus Spike so that he only needs to deal 1 damage to a creature to get it off the table. Heartstone makes his ability twice as efficient, which in Kumano's case is pretty scary. Kumano gets removed from the board at the most annoying times, so we have more mana sinks in the form of X burn spells like Crater's Claws (Kumano and a few more of our creatures are Ferocious), Banefire, Titan's Revenge, Comet Storm, Red Sun's Zenith and Devil's Play. Zenith, Revenge and Devil's Play are especially valuable since they can be played multiple times with little or no hoop-jumping.
The cards I am most seriously considering replacing are Ashling the Pilgrim (I don't like dealing damage to myself, and the per-turn limit seems contrary to the deck's goals) and Hellkite Tyrant (amazing in some matchups, useless in others). I'm thinking of Obsidian Fireheart as a replacement for Ashling, but I'm open to other suggestions.

I ran a Kumano deck like this for a little while. As soon as it would get a chance to get ahead, it'd steam roll any other creatures on the field which was, of course, what the deck was supposed to do, but it got major salt and created games that just weren't fun. I hope your version of it turns out better.
I was thinking of running Sharpshooter, but decided not to because my build is more focused on mana production than deathtouch and control. So far my deck hasn't caused any salt. I managed to impress my opponents at a game I won by killing one player with Red Sun's Zenith which miraculously shuffled back to the top and killed one more.
