It has a simple premise, and a whole lotta cards from the original Daretti.
My hopes for this deck are to fuhgeddabout a lot of End of Turn triggers vis-a-vis Sundial of the Infinite, and, obviously, use lots of sweet sweet Feldon recursion. Some win-cons include beating to a pulp with Dragons and Wurmcoil, along with some other decent sized creatures, as well as Scrap Mastery, which happens to be a bomb in decks like these. Some cards for consideration are some goblin spawning engines and my favorite little sac engine, Goblin Bombardment.
Mindclaw Shaman is for the instant/sorcery heavy decks out there (steal one a turn with Feldon, or just look at their hand at your leisure.)
On an unrelated note, I have a silly rulings question I think I know the answer to but need to ask anyway: Can Tuktuk the Explorer be on the field at the same time as Tuktuk the Returned? I assume yes, because they have different names, and creatures don't have name fragments in their subtypes like Planeswalkers do.
I look forward to any contributions! Thanks!
I've used this deck a few times so far, with no losses yet.
Got some results thus far for my deck.
Defeated a Brago, King Eternal twice, no losses.
Defeated a Ghoulcaller Gisa twice, no losses.
Defeated a Nekusar, the Mindrazer once, no losses.
Ghoulcaller used lots of undying, Grave Titan and hella recursion coupled with discard that kept me at 3 or less cards in hand the majority of both games, and otherwise saw what was in my hand. Most of the enchantments I was able to use to my advantage, i.e. one that caused me to sac on deaths of his creatures. (recursion via Feldon Wurmcoil Engine to sac, or otherwise Sundial of the Infinite the ability away on my turns, when it wasn't advantageous. Won both times. One from beat-sticking him to death with Wurmcoil, one from using Bosh, Iron Golem's ability to burn-spell him with artifact creatures and Ugin's Nexus. He almost won one time with Livewire Lash, but I was quicker on the last hit using Epochrasite during upkeep, putting Feldon's ability on the stack to flash in Hamletback Goliath, and then using Flamekin Village to give Epochrasite haste, swinging for the win.
The easiest to beat was Brago. Turn 1, Mountain. Turn 2, Dormant Volcano. Discard Hoarding Dragon because 8 cards in hand. Turn 3, Mountain, Feldon. Turn 4, Hoarding Dragon via Feldon's ability, dies at end of turn, pull Wurmcoil Engine. Discard Wurmcoil Engine (too many cards in hand.)
Rinse, repeat, only using a mixture of Ugin's Nexus, Sundial of the Infinite, other artifacts, recursing Wurmcoil as needed, until he Darksteel Mutationed Feldon, and I had to waste my mana on Spine of Ish Sah. Steel Hellkite, swung, activated ability for three mana eliminating Detention Sphere and Darksteel Mutation. Won later.
I also had a few games in which I deliberately skipped the first turn land drop in order to deliberately discard Bogardan Hellkite to get him out on turns 3-5 triggering his removals. Pretty metal.
Cards currently up for consideration include that one dragon that triggers a win if you control twenty or more artifacts. I own it somewhere, I forget the name. Keldon Firebombers Urabrask the Hidden
I have a version of this built I use a fun but stupid combo using Karnes, Onakke Ancient, Voltaic Key, Gilded Lotus,Purports, God of the Forge, Liquid Metal Coating, and Myr Battleshpere
I want to limit the use of certain combos, excepting my Ugin's Nexus/Prototype Portal combo. I have Onakke Ancient, but I don't have very many artifacts with activated abilities.
Any suggestions for this deck anyone?
