Okay so I felt I should upload one of my babies. I have been testing this deck for about half a year now and its been fairly fun to play against very competitive decks. Typically decks that are well tuned hate this deck as they want to be efficient while I just control their draws for days. I am looking for any suggestions if anyone has any.
I've really tried to find ways to use Circu, Dimir LobotomistCircu as a commander so I'm excited to see this on here. After looking over your list I don't see the clear win-cons.
I'm guessing you'll just be utilizing the opponents library/graveyard to find weapons with Geth, Lord of the Vault, Nightveil Specter and others?
Im trying thought about using Consuming Aberration but being at a 5 CMC really hurts its appeal to me previously. I just kinda realized the trigger off of each spell I cast so I will have to test him again. I swore previously that it was when he attacked that it triggered so i'm guessing you can see my lack of appeal then.
On My lack of Win Cons: I actually Have 1 win con here: Mind Grind! This deck is meant to control the game into my opponents only drawing lands and from there allowing me to ramp and then elimate thier decks in one stroke with a BoseijuedMind Grind. Works 85% of the time all the time! Further wincons are stealing thing with Geth and Talrand, Sky Summoner overruning with some great Drake Tokens (drake tokens are not autocarded so I picked a close enough drake). These two back up win cons are why I didn't play the Mindcrank + Duskmantle Guildmage combo as I personally hate 2 card combos. (3 card combos are a different story).
I hope this helps you understand my decka bit more and thanks for the Consuming Aberration idea!
Primarily out of Cost reasons... I have college to pay for ontop of Grad School to save for... which means RIP my dreams of owning a JTMS and Nether void for the next few years.
But my reason for running these two are: Jace, Architect of Thought: His +1 is fantastic against the rith, the awakener deck that is in my meta that wrecks this deck in it early stages of testing otherwise a free card from everyone is extremely strong in this deck. Jace, the Living Guildpact: is for his card filtering +1 and his ult which allows me to recast everything in my grave which is always fun.
I can see why you wouldn't want to trun TC and DTT - I've just have had great experiences in a control type shell. I love SS and can act as an early cantrip or a late game full draw.
edit- I guess it is also financial reasons for no Bob.

Skeletal scrying was in the original version of the deck but I also cantripped a lot more there and I ended up feeling like i never head enough to draw with it. I will toss that in the cards to test list which seems to be growing quickly.
I actually have tested treasure cruise heavily and I can normally get away with out hurting myself too bad with it as I have enough scry of of thassa and top but when it does hit me for damage, it hits for fatal everytime. (its killed me 4 times so far... )
I thought about trying Dig but then I remember how bad TC hurts. and Bob is on my wishlist becasue he would be so good here...
Field of Dreams is another card to control the top and it's blue so it trigger's circu.
THANK YOU!!!! I found it when I was making the original list 6 months ago and then my ADHD kicked in and I actually paid attention in class which then I forgot about the card as Depressive Symptoms on the brain required a lot of memory. U!!
Yeah my deck is surprisingly budget for how effective it works. I would love to get a Liliana of the veil in here also but again my wallet. I actually ran a lot of fetches in here (aka the Onslaught ones) as they helped with top but I phased them out as I realized I often didn't need to shuffle as much but i'll probably toss them back in.
How do you feel about your GY hate? I'd maybe think about adding Tormon's Crpyt or Relic.
Ever think about Tezzeret the Seeker? It seems as if he can tutor quite a lot of answers for you (Pithing Needle, Strix, Metamorph, Top, sword, etc).
I only have one tezzeret the seeker and he is in my Mishra, artificer prodigy deck. I should probably test him in here but that CMC is painful. (see my CMC chart up top) For the tutoring aspect I have trinket mage and I have been testing Artificer's Intuition for the past 2 weeks and it has been working decently well.
On GY hate: I actually have thought about it but leyline of the void would be best as Mind grind win for 3 cmc. I should probably add a Tormod's Crypt but finding space is always hard.

Consuming Aberration: Is an absolute powerhouse. The mill aspect is incredibly strong and I don't know how I played with out it. In the 3 games I played it milled over 70 cards total each game and often killed someone with damage. ☆☆☆☆☆/☆☆☆☆☆
Skeletal Scrying: Was weak. I often never had creatures in the yard to draw from so was sad to see it everytime. However this one is getting more testing. ☆☆/☆☆☆☆☆
Artificer's Intuition + artifact lands: Helped me tutor up top and my Latern which both are key peices to the deck so I am keeping it around for more testing. ☆☆☆☆/☆☆☆☆☆
This was all the testing I did this week but I did find that the deck does handle well and is really fun as it interacts with every player without pissing people off which was a huge surprise.
I am playing on testing Tormod's Cryp and Leyline of the void this week and next week so I will keep updating y'all with the results and will hopefully settle on the three testing cards by mid next week.
Woops Guess I was adding stipulations that don't matter.... Will have to retest it based off of this.
On notes of the deck: I have been horribly busy with school so I haven't played EDH in about 2 weeks. I am possibly playing tonight so if i do I will have more on the deck.
While you don't have very many zombies in the deck for the first ability, it works well with Lich Lord of Unx and can get rid of pesky creatures that shuffle themselves (or the entire graveyard) back in when they hit the grave with the second, and give you more zombies.
Well i just realized Wizened Snitches is a card... Time to pick it up. Otherwise I haven't really had all that much time to play these past few weeks and will try to play this deck by the end of the week to give y'all an update on how the deck is working.
I really like adding Leyline of the Void together with Helm of Obedience, the individual pieces synergize very well with your deck already. Planar Void is another option since you don't run the delve cards, but unfortunately it doesn't work with helm.
I think this is hilarious deck idea I like Lukas counterbalance that's a card I'm very familiar with building around. I even think the commander/deck theme warrants use of hilariously otherwise horrible cards like feild of dreams I think I want to make a version of this deck
Moxnix I would love if you built this too I know that Endisnear just bought it too so I think it could be a fun project to work on with you guys.
In other words I currently, have been editing my decklist so much it looks like nothing poster here currently. I was testing a slightly different route for the deck and it didn't work. I need to reassemble the main part of the deck and then I will have more to say on the deck but that is my project for after work tomorrow.
One thing I've noticed in making my own list is that Doomsday is a very viable win condition. Being able to exile cards from your library to dig further can really open up doomsday piles and lower the amount of mana needed to win with them. Brainstorm for instances digs 4 cards with Circu. I think it's thematic too, in an odd way. The expert lobotomist turns his tools on himself to focus on victory. Or something like that.

My fav:

Higher CMC though...
Treasure Cruise
Dig Through Time

I got ya. Well don't forget Consuming Aberration's 2nd ability. (which a lot of people do) Its a mini-Mind Grind
