So have you ever gone to your LGS, and sat to play with your local group, and then the local moocher comes up to you guys and says, "Hey, you guys have a deck I can borrow? I want to play EDH, but I don't have a deck." If the answer is yes, then DO I HAVE AN AWESOME DECK FOR YOU!
The concept:
1- All of the non-land cards require at least one color of mana to cast.
2- All of the non-land cards have some sort of undesirable aspect to them. Unable to win the game, skipping a turn, skipping an untap, exiling something, etc.
3- None of the lands in the deck have the ability to provide mana.
The next time someone needs to borrow a deck, this is the best deck for them! It will provide a fun and interesting experience for your playgroup, and a valuable learning experience for whoever plays it.
I laughed so hard after reading your points! I didn't even notice the lack of basic mana till it was mentioned haha. Love the idea. I totally understand your point on moochers. Don't mind lending decks a few times but if you really like the format and want to play it a lot then buy a deck (or pre con). If you wanted to make the deck semi nice you could add a single basic of each colour haha.
My only concern is that i'd worry about pissing someone off that bad while they've got a grip of my fetches in their hand. Also, Tabernacle still has an effect in this deck. One possible hilarious replacement could be serra's sanctum (even though it *could* provide mana, it won't)
I understand the point of nothing to get with the fetches and being a total troll, but I don't want someone to rage quit when I have expensive cards like tabernacle in the deck. I would put in Dark Depths instead. It produces no mana and needs 3 to do something.
Just hope no one plays Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth. Then the deck can at least play a spell or two.

I am looking for Date Stamped promos from Khans of Tarkir block so I can finish my set. Check my wants if you have any.
Currently offering 2 non-foil Kolighan's Command for a Date Stamped foil!
The deck is meant to be proxied, if I failed to mention it before. Also, I forgot about Ad Nauseum, and Necropotence, and Dark Depths. Maybe I should "update" the list. Well, it would require I PRINT OUT MORE proxies and I'm too cheap to do that. I already wasted a full 100 Dragon Shields.
I think adding 1 just one basic land of each color would be even more cruel. Because that way there's actually hope to cast some stuff. One can never truly despair without having hope for a future. Or something like that.
The point of the deck is simple. "Make your own deck." It's just to troll the hell out of the moochers who won't even proxy up a deck or buy a pre-con. There's no need to actually overthink it, it's just a cruel joke to play on the lazy people.

The fact that you use all the fetches is genius - they'll likely not mulligan an opening hand with two fetches in it.
