So the point (if you couldn't guess) is to chain a bunch of creatures together until you can make Animar, Soul of Elements big enough to kill your opponent in one swing. Brain Freeze is a back up wincon if you cant get Animar, Soul of Elements big enough. A storm count of 12-13 should mill your opponent completely. Worldly Tutor and Sylvan Tutor are in the list to help guarantee a turn 2 Bloom Tender.
The deck was making too much mana and not drawing enough cards. Also, the amount of cards needed for a swing and Fling was similar to the amount needed for a Brain Freeze, but you needed to connect with Animar, Soul of Elements. So Brain Freeze is strictly better.
I didn't realize Intruder Alarm was legal in this format. While it costs more than Scryb Ranger, it is strictly better in the fact that every creature untaps your Rattleclaw Mystic and Bloom Tender. Adding Intruder Alarm has tempted me to add in some regular mana dorks, but I want to test the list as is before I make that decision.
Good point. I didn't think of Brain Freeze. It is strictly better than Fling as they both need a similar storm count to be lethal. The storm count needed for a lethal Grapeshot is high enough where I'm probably winning without it. And for half combat damage, half Grapeshot damage, Brain Freeze is just better. Thanks for the advice.
Also, I updated the original list with some changes, adjusted all numbers/spoilers, and added a changelog.

Getting to Cloudstone Curio is SUPER important, and Chord of Calling is less important as it can only find creatures.
I found that I was drawing an annoying amount of lands, so I cut the least important fetch land.
-Scryb Ranger
+Intruder Alarm
