I've significantly changed this deck since it was first posted. I was resistant to the control/combo orientation of that Sharuum generally has at first, but since I've incorporated a lot from the primer I like the deck a lot better. I'm more creature heavy than the primer and have a few other changes, but for the most part it's otherwise a pretty standard Sharuum list.
It's particularly about a grindy, engine based Sharuum.

I took a look over the deck, and I'm going to take quite a few card ideas and balance out some of the slower cards that were better in my casual metagame than in commander. However, I'm looking for this deck to be a little more swingy (hence all the creatures) with some combo potential on the side. I don't want this to be too competitive, as with the exception of maybe four players in my league most people's decks are only slightly better than mine (if that). I'm much more interested in just having fun playing than having the perfect decklist, and frankly I don't have the budget to invest in many of the more expensive cards I don't already have. With that in mind, does anything stand out as needing to go? I've already got about 10-15 cards I'm thinking of swapping out for the likes of Karn, some tutors and some rocks.
The thing about Sharuum is that she's so resilient, but a lot of the coolest stuff is rather expensive. Check out Open the Vaults and Roar of Reclamation. Look into Leonin Abunas to give you some protection. Lastly, you absolutely will love Myr Battlesphere. Voyager Staff is a great way to protect your important guys, kill tokens, and fog for a turn. It's easily brought back with Sharuum, and can be used to double up Sharuum triggers after she's already out.
