Okay so I felt it time to downgrade some of my spiky decks. MY saffi deck while really fun to play often wins by turn cycle 6 or 7 sometimes as early as turn 4 so I felt its time to downgrade my arms race that happens in my LGS and turn this back to some shuffling fun. Now I am downgrading the combo aspect to the deck but not the power of the cards. So With out further adu: the Conclave of Answers:
Okay so Now you might be thinking what? Chorus of the Conclave? Since when is that a good commander? well once you combine in one specific card it becomes amazing. That card is Wild pair. Chorus allows you to add more +1/+1 counters before it triggers Wild Pair. This allows me upgrade my creatures from small dorks to large threats all for a minimal amount of mana. To pair this with a birthing pod chain this allows us to answer threats effectively.
I am currently looking for ideas to better the deck and just fun ways to abuse a toolbox like deck.
And I just updated the deck list as I stopped playing the deck a while back and then tore it apart but this is what I am now using as a for fun play against newer players as it allows me to do two things:
1. play creatures
2. Shuffle... A LOT.
It is a return to the Timmy (Playing for Fun rather than for playing to win) aspect side of EDH that i enjoyed while still enjoying the johnny (Finding and abusing unique combos) side that I am accustom to.
