So the idea is that the vast majority of the time, the deck plays out like a regular weenie rush deck, using one of the handful of finishers like Thunderfoot Baloth or Craterhoof to finish the game out. However, some games that just won't happen because people hate Teeg and will do their darndest to keep him off the table. In those games there are a couple Blasting Station combos (Sun Titan + Saffi or Karmic Guide + Reveillark) and the absolutely ridiculous Primal Surge to immediately end the game. Honestly, who expects the 10-mana-win-the-game-sorcery from the Gaddock Teeg deck? Nobody, because it's ridiculous!
The end goal here is to, after revealing the Surge win once or twice, meta-mind-game people into leaving Teeg alone for fear that I'll immediately win. The best way to prevent someone from doing something isn't to try and stop them -- they'll just try harder. The best way is to make them not want to do it in the first place. I want people to (rightfully) think that having Teeg in play is the better option for them.
I'd very much like to hear your opinions on the list. Great idea? Terrible idea? Any notable cards I overlooked? Any cards you don't think should be in there? Please share!
