Hello! I am a mostly EDH player, but most of my decks are/have been "cozy" and casual (prioritizing interactivity and cornercase cards over maximum winfactor). But that is why I am here today!
My friends decks have gotten slightly more serious over time and now I am finding myself almost never winning games. Therefore I decided to build an "I want to win"-deck and decided that Purphoros, God of the Forge would be relatively cheap while still being really effective, no matter how many players are at the board.
This is what my 99 looks like, but I have a huge "maybeboard" and I would really like some advice on what to put in the deck and what to remove from it.
I think if you find that your friends decks are on the more serious side, you may want to play Blood Moon and Magus of the Moon. Those are usually good at hurting their lands for a few turns while you can power out tokens.
You may want to consider some ways to push through damage if Purph gets tucked. Maybe Burn at the Stake or Hellrider?
