This is a deck concept based off of the old Uril, the Miststalker "Urilgeddon" style voltron decks that were somewhat popular years back. The basic idea is to play Ruhan of the Fomori and follow your play up with a mass land destruction play to quickly put away the game. If you or your play group is not okay with mass land destruction, this deck is probably not for you. The exclusion of some cards are for the sake of not making the games completely unfun, such as pairing Strip Mine with Crucible of Worlds.
Since playing Ruhan of the Fomori and sweeping away lands is not always the easiest play to pull off, the deck offers ways to set up your equipment plays using Planeswalkers that help you draw to them, or provide creatures to equip them to and you may find that this is a somewhat common approach when you do not have explosive hands. The utility of these planeswalkers gives you a lot of options to help you through various situations.
