Well, it has to be said that Kolaghan is clearly better than Kolaghan. Considering what BR decks usually want and how stiff the competition in this guild is, there is no way that I would run Kolaghan over Kolaghan! Kolaghan might make it in as the sixth guild card or so. Kolaghan on the other hand ranks several places below that.
It was so funny to me when they described this as a downgrade to the original Zurgo during the Pax East panel. I was thinking if this is a downgrade, they should really "downgrade" all legendary creatures. Haha.
My deck designing is quite concise at this point:
1. Come up with deck idea
2. Realize this idea is somehow fundamentally similar to another deck I have or that is commonly played in my group
3. Decide I don't want to disassemble one of my existing decks
4. Give up and do nothing
I don't see the point of this new shroud mechanic. It's strictly worse than Hexproof. Threshold is pretty bad too, Delirium is a much better mechanic and probably easier to activate.
Otherwise this card is a pretty neat guy. Dodges removal and grows into a Primal Huntbeast. 3/5
I like your list. Mine looks pretty similar but I'm still thinking through about 20 spots. I'd like to take advantage of the fact that the tokens are artifacts but I keep finding cool ETB effects that I want to play with instead. How do you put up deck lists like that?

You can do some absolutely insane things with Kuldotha Forgemaster - that's the main direction that my deck's taken things. You can make the build really artifact heavy, and just go off by grabbing Rings with the first Forgemaster, and Forging your way into Basalt Monolith and Staff of Dominance.
Very cool list - I'm working on one at the moment too and yours has given me some cool ideas, particularly Dong Zhou, the Tyrant and Lore Broker! Are you currently just using Worldgorger Dragon as an answer to removal or is there another interaction which I'm missing?
Have you considered Thousand-Year Elixir? Giving Feldon haste and untapping him is pretty awesome.
Treant 7 - to post a deck like that you need to use [deck] tags. Quote this post to see how I made the deck list below.
He's not running Valakut, but in my list it lets you Scapeshift every turn if you have a Valakut out with some Mountains - also, it can go infinite with Elixir and 7-8 mana, but he's not running that either. Also curious.

I highly support including Dong Zhou, entirely because testing the deck yesterday I slammed him into play during my opponent's combat to make his blightsteel punch him in the face for lethal.
Thousand-Year will most likely be coming in with the next list update, just have to find a cut.

Will be posting my list shortly.
Err. I *was* running Valakut. Apparently my deck builder glitched and removed it when I was trying to remove a mountain. Fixed now. Also added Vedalken Orrery to test with, because I'd like things to do on other players' turns.

I realize Goblin Bombardment wouldn't work to enable WGD combo like I'd like it to, but it could be worth running. If I bring it in, I'm definitely gonna bring in Knollspine as well. Any thoughts?

Knollspine Dragon is awesome, and I've been considering finding room for Goblin Bombardment myself. The two seem like they'd go well together and both are solid cards on their own.
Those were my thoughts as well. I'm going to have to find room for them, especially with your repeated endorsement of Knollspine

I'm not usually much for convoluted combos but I think Feldon + Priest of Urabrask + Thornbite Staff+ sac outlet could be fun. Each of those are useful here independent of one another but would make for infinite mana. Would Altar of Dementia or Goblin Bombardment be better as a sac outlet?
Edit: Actually not infinite mana but infinite mill and/or damage
In general I feel that choosing what we discard is good, so tossing cards for value is even better. Draconian Cylix can protect Feldon and other support creatures, while Jaya Ballard, Task Mage can deal with things. The battledriver's haste may be slightly irrelevant but the +2/0 sure isn't. Thornbite Staff ensures that after you've used Feldon's ability he'll untap at the end of that turn. This means, with enough mana, we can be reactive with his ability just as much as we are proactive. In that regard I recommend Stuffy Doll. Clone Shell and Wurmcoil Engine can give you free creatures, as can Tuktuk the Explorer (though only one at a time for him). Scuttling Doom Engine is just something big to swing that you know will also deal 6 damage come turns end unless they want to use up an exile effect. Heartstone makes Feldons ability cheeper to use and Stalking Vengeance just makes you evil.
I'm a big fan of Feldon. I see me building around him a lot in the future.

Jaya Ballard is a great idea. I'll be looking for a spot in my list for the ability to discard creatures for Feldon.

Yeah, looting is good. Wheels are good too. I'm also quite keen on self-mill via stuff like Altar of Dementia and Grinding Station. Slowly brainstorming my list, waiting for the accompanying deck's list to see if there's anything worthwhile in there to consider.

I mentioned it above but the combo of Feldon, Altar, Thornbite staff, and a Priest of Urabrask in the graveyard is infinite mill. I like the idea of milling an entire table in mono red haha.
I'll have to try Rummaging Goblin out in my deck. Is it kosher to post a list in someone else's thread? I'm running out of good spaces in mine and could use an extra pair of eyes to find cards that might not be as useful as I'm imagining.

That sounds awesome, and thanks! Here is my current deck list:
I'm wondering if Mana Echoes has a place in Feldon. The answer is probably no, as it needs a multitude of bodies off something like Myr Battlesphere to be effective. A pity really, I love that piece of super sekrit tech I have to explain to everybody and then send them off to Gatherer to check rulings in disbelief

Wurmcoil, Jaya, and Thornbite are on my watchlist. (also known as the "I've just yet to find room" list in the Staff's case.)
Ogre Battledriver: So far, I've yet to be in a situation where this would win me the game, but not having it wouldn't.
Clone Shell: If I was going to run this effect, I'd use the Egg one. And I don't plan to use this effect.
Tuktuk: The tokens being Legendary is what killed this for me.
Stuffy Doll: Doesn't really advance the gameplan that much.
Doom Engine: Honestly pretty low impact compared to some of the options. If I was running a more aggressive build with Pandemonium and co then it would be in.
Vengeance: Another part of the "Pandemonium Package" that I am considering.
Heartstone: Only benefits Feldon and 2 vs 3 mana isn't a huge difference.
Cylix: I hate random discard with a passion. Burning Inquiry is the only piece I will touch.

Mindless Automaton: I'm not a huge fan of it, but its on my watchlist.
Deal Broker: Yeah, this one is in my list and its definitely worth it.
Godo: The only equipment worth searching for is SoFaF and Thornbite Staff, so he's probably not worth it.

Just because there isn't much equipment to dig up doesn't mean it's not worth running a tutor for it. My Purph list has a Flamekin Harbinger that enables access to my "elemental package" of Grinning Ignus and Ingot Chewer.
SoFaF if pretty glorious here, I think I may splurge for one. Also, Runed Stalactite is good tech with Godo. Don't forget Illusionist's Bracers. Is that slowly shaping up to be enough of a package?
EDIT: Also the ^^ was referring to the list above my post, hence the Deal Broker that you run
The more I think about the Godo package the cooler it starts looking actually, with SoFaF being a major enabler. SoFaF, Runed Stalactite and Whispersilk Cloak is gg.

I know it was, I was echoing your sentiments on the Deal Broker.
The biggest issue with Godo is that there isn't really anything I'd want to cut for a 6 cost 3/3 that tutors for 3 cards. I'm not going to run Runed Stalactite just for him, and I'm having enough issues trying to make room for Knollspine and Wurmcoil, much less Godo.

I ended up adding Rummaging Goblin to the deck after posting. Deal Broker is way better. Not only is he a bigger body but he is an artifact for situations with Goblin Welder. I will definitely be switching them. I'm not running enough equipment right now to justify Godo but he is definitely good enough to where I might have to reconsider. My deck doesn't run a whole lot of 4 drops so I may have to look for a place for Mindless Automaton. Thanks for the ideas!
I like Avalanche Riders. Like a Goblin Settler I can afford.
I'm still trying to iron out the Godo package. SoFaF + cloak work fine with Thornbite Staff if you can somehow untap the Feldon after making the first Godo happen, and both of those cards aren't quite as lousy as Runed Stalactite when Godo is hiding somewhere in the depths of your deck. I believe that Godo can be used here to good effect, and I'll do my darnedest to come up with a package that's both optimal for him and doesn't blow when he's nowhere to be seen.
By the way, one of the other threads uses Thundermare as a pseudo-fog. You can also use Shrieking Mogg for that. It answers to all the goblin tutors too.
So far, my theorycrafted list is a goblin toolbox, a Godo package which I'm going to make work somehow, some big hitters that are just too good to pass up, and tons of looting/wheels/self-mill. The nice thing about the goblins is that there's lots of tutors for them - Goblin Recruiter, Goblin Matron, Moggcatcher. You're running a bunch of goblins yourself, maybe add the other two tutors in?

Run both. Looting is the strongest (read: most useful) effect this deck has access to.

He's not running Valakut, but in my list it lets you Scapeshift every turn if you have a Valakut out with some Mountains - also, it can go infinite with Elixir and 7-8 mana, but he's not running that either. Also curious.

Err. I *was* running Valakut. Apparently my deck builder glitched and removed it when I was trying to remove a mountain. Fixed now. Also added Vedalken Orrery to test with, because I'd like things to do on other players' turns.

When ~ enters the battlefield, exile all cards from your graveyard for as long as it remains on the battlefield
Those were my thoughts as well. I'm going to have to find room for them, especially with your repeated endorsement of Knollspine
Oh okay wow. That's really helpful. Thanks!

I LIKE DRAGONS!
Jaya Ballard is a great idea. I'll be looking for a spot in my list for the ability to discard creatures for Feldon.

I am so excited about this card. I am immediately trading out Reverberate for him.
