"Whenever Sidisi, Brood Tyrant enters the battlefield or attacks, put the top three cards of your library into your graveyard."
It's always a pain to see a reanimation spell getting flushed, but that's part of the risk! No pain, no gain...
"Whenever one or more creature cards are put into your graveyard from your library, put a 2/2 black Zombie creature token onto the battlefield."
I'm a bit dissapointed in this ability. It would be awesome if you would get a zombie for each creature that you mill. Then again cards like Traumatize would break the format. Or if you could sacrifice a zombie to make her unblockable or indestructible.
The Competition:
Damia, Sage of Stone: Out of the 3 listed choices this is the go to general for making a strong control deck. Downside is that she costs quiet a lot of mana, and if you can't keep her on the board for an entire turn... Well just try to keep her aboard :P.
The Mimeoplasm: This is probably the biggest competition for Sidisi and very understandable why. Personally I prefer Sidisi cause in my opinion she's a low profile general. She doesn't attract too much unwanted attention, and that's exactly her biggest strength. With The Mimeoplasm you wanna swing for lethal or exile troublesome creatures. While having your general as another win condition is a very good point, I don't like exiling the creatures.
Vorosh, the Hunter: If you can keep him, he's an absolute madman. Killing people by general damage in no time!

Gotta admit, this deck plays like a charm. Anybody else with a Sidisi deck that proves me right?! :-D
So far I only tested this deck on Cockatrice, hopefully some real life games will follow soon! Planning on making a Brago deck next, so stay in touch!
Grimore of the Dead should be Rise of the Dark Realms, Deglamer should be Acidic Slime because he is pod-able from Sidisi, which is really good. Cards to consider to are Dread Return because it works from the graveyard, same with Worm Harvest and Spitting Image. With Life from the Loam, these things do a lot of work. Also, I run the Mimeoplasm as a singleton in my Sidisi deck, and he is still a really good card, he is pod-able from the commander and gets anything milled away by Sidisi, which is really cool.
How is Soul of Innistrad? I really wanted to try that but I didn't get the chance yet, same with the other souls too. Another thing I wanted to try to Mesmeric Orb but I was afraid of the hate it would draw, what do you think of it?
In general, I would try to turn my instants and sorceries into either creatures or thing that work from the graveyard, like Retrace of Flashback. I also really like Phyrexian Altar and Ashnod's Altar to turn the zombies into mana when needed. But in general, I prefer things like Massacre Wurmcompared to Barter in Blood or Gaze of Granite. Other than that, looks like a nice start.
Rise of the Dark Realms is a good card, just like the smaller Grim Return. I wouldn't necessarily replace Grimoire of the Dead with Rise.
I know the Grimoire is easily blown up, and while the Rise effect is a nice advantage, I use it more for the discard ability.
Dread Return is a card I should take under consideration (zombies are easily sacrificed), Worm Harvest and Spitting Image don't really get me that warm.
Worm Harvest and Life from the Loam are cards you could add if you're playing with a very expensive mana base (fetches).
Soul of Innistrad is an awesome card, the cost of his ability - 5 mana seems high, but for returning 3 creatures... it's totally worth it. Mesmeric Orb draws a lot of hate indeed, but it can mill like no other card can. I think this card depends on your playgroup. If you see alot of graveyard based decks, like Karador. I wouldn't recommend it.
Most of the decks I build are creature centered, I love creatures, but the usage of instants and sorceries (especially with blue who can return them), is not a thing easy to overlook.
I'm gonna update and clean up this thread and my Kresh thread as soon as possible! Think I'm starting to enjoy magic again :).
Keep up your radar for updates!
Loam doesn't need an expensive mana base to be good, the cycle lands r amazing w/ it. It adds a nice amount of card advantage and self mill to the deck.
I have a Sidisi deck I'm working on it. I'll post a list when I'm done updating it when I get home. I'm on my phone atm. It's pretty sweet and fun to play.
I run more zombies and creatures than ur list, mine is more zombie tribal focused, w/ some non zombie to support. But gravespawn sovereign is amazing and is awesome w/ prophet. And noxious ghoul is nice semi-one sided board wipe.
extract from darkness should be animate dead and makeshift mannequin should be necromancy. toxic deluge should definitely have a reserved spot on this list, so should urborg, tomb of yawgmoth and cabal coffers.
