I threw a deck together that uses a bunch of lords and anthems to vomit out a ton of zombies, and I have to say that many times I've started putting out 10+ zombies a turn by T7 or so. However in practice, it's just sort of fallen flat. I need a bit of help figuring out what that is. Here's the list:
40 lands is a bit much I think and I might take it down to 38, cutting Ancient Tomb as one because I only have the one, and I think another deck might need it more.
My hard removal is lacking and I admit that I didn't design the deck to have much of it. There is also a lack of sweeping, which might be a problem.
The Dragon throne isn't for alpha strike; it's for more Zombies.
I don't usually need the doublers. I thought about Gauntlet and Sun because they are anthems, but Urborg makes Gauntlet way too risky for mono-black, and my Suns are tied up at the moment. Nirk is also 6 mana, and Ghast is fine. I just don't have any.
Looking at your deck, I feel like you could use something like Exsanguinate, Profane Command, and/or Death Cloud as more of an instant win condition. The drain you have feels pretty good, but some of it is a one-shot effect, and most of it relies on you having multiple zombies on the field. While not terrible, it feels like a wrath might slow you down considerably if you're going for the burn plan and have now way to protect Gisa. More removal and maybe a Damnation-type effect might work well for you as well, as you've noted.
Lastly, while it's a bit mana-intensive, have you given any thought to Lim-Dul, the Necromancer? He gives you protection for the considerable number of Zombies you have, and can also add more from your opponents' ranks if you have the mana to spare.
I always think about using Lim-Dul, though he rarely makes the cut. Taking creatures isn't a bad option with him, but as you said, he is very mana intensive. I'm not too worried about protecting my zombies because most of them are tokens and other can come back pretty easily. I think I'd rather use Grave Betrayal over Lim-Dul even though it doesn't recur as easily.
I think a big black X spell might do well here as well as maybe cutting a few things that might be sub optimal. I also have a Graveborn Muse that I forgot about.

Cards I want to fit into the deck are Soulless One, Dragon Throne of Tarkir, Grim Haruspex, and Bloodsoaked Champion. Door of Destinies and Coat of Arms are also looking to possibly get into the fray.
What do you guys think?
