- This Commander deck is based around its general Sean Connery and sticks to an old school White Weenie theme. Turns out that most of the good weenie creatures that support Odric are Humans by default and so I have tailored extra synergies to work with that tribe as well as with the two sub-tribes also found on most of the creatures; Soldiers and Knights. This deck was built long before Odric was printed and originally only focused on the knight's tribe; staring Sidar Jabari as its general. It has received considerable changes over time.
- The deck is built for small groups or 1v1 play. While the deck has some tools like Ghostway added to help it cope in multiplayer, repeated board wipes will undoubtedly be your must common way of demise. Despite sweepers, the deck has high burst potential and is very dangerous to play against especially when Odric lives long enough to attack.
- The play style is that of classic white weenie (I'm talking Standard decks from 1995) and although I chose not to include the main staple Balance (banned I know but still playable under my house rules), I probably should put it back in for flavor reasons! Either way though, the goal is plop a couple fast creatures and use Odrics trigger to go to town, either straight to the opponents face or by using first strikers to pick off opposing creatures. Due to the this play style the deck has been heavily tilted towards creatures and within that, creatures that will help odric come online quicker such as Seller of Songbirds over stronger and more notable cards such as White Knight.
- The deck has a little removal but enough to get by most of the time - much of the board control is brought by Odric as mentioned above. There is also a great deal of synergy between the creatures but the deck itself is pretty weak without 007 active on the job.
Nice deck, but I have to point out that you have next to no ramp and a lot of high cost spells. Throwing in a few cheap artifact ramp spells like Coldsteel Heart, Worn Powerstone, and Marble Diamond wouldn't hurt. Sol Ring is also pretty accessible at about $5. Enlightened Tutor can help you get it more reliably but is more expensive. Pearl Medallion would also be great.
Minimizing the number of spells with 6 cmc and above would help too.
Balance is indeed banned, but Cataclysm isn't and has a very similar effect that I've found to be amazing for a weenie deck. If you lower your mana curve, you can force the game to be played within your curve, completely denying your opponent's access to large portions of their libraries. Other cards that fulfill this role are Ruination, Global Ruin, and Keldon Firebombers.

I find running R to be really helpful for a aggro-weenie decks since...
You are definitely right about the very minimal ramp included, I have to disagree however about the high cost of spells, I count only 5 cards at 6+ cmc and think that this is quite acceptable given what they can do for the deck. Extending from that, I don't see enough value in adding ramp when we are trying to keep the overall cmc so low anyway. This also conflicts with my primary goal of having Odric online the turn he is cast; if only white had some haste effects to work with..
Don't worry about budget, the only cards I really find hard to get my hands on are things like Ravages of War. I will pass on E-tutor all the same though since it doesn't perpetuate the creature theme.
You are also right about Cataclysm and friends being huge; and I play them frequently along side many other global and targeted land hate abilities in my more competitive decks (Giest and Ismaru to be exact, sorry they aren't yet listed ><). I have opted to exclude them from here though and make this a slightly more friendly/casual deck.
The inclusion of Red will unfortunately have to be for another time and place since I wouldn't be able to give up Commander Bond as the General.
New Business; khans has been released and I'm doing a quick review of each deck and updating the main list. Unfortunately, outside of the subpar Suspension Field, I don't really see any viable additions for the deck at this time.
I have updated the main list visually by card function but currently there are no changes to be made.
This looks really fun, going to have to try a build with this guy. From a flavor standpoint (not a bad creature either) I would have to run Crusader of Odric. I would try to make a spot for Jihad as well. Thanks for posting!

I find running R to be really helpful for a aggro-weenie deck since it grants you access to stuff like Iroas, God of Victory, Ogre Battledriver, Krenko, Mob Boss, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Legion Loyalist, Wheel of Fortune, Chaos Warp and Hellrider among others. The link to my Boros deck is in my sig. Odric is in the deck and plays a strong role, but I think that mono white is just too restrictive if you want to be competitive.
