As soon as I saw Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient spoiled, I knew I had to use him as a commader. He's a Rings of Brighthearth for just artifacts but his ability only needs one mana. Seeing as how a lot of sweet and utilitarian artifacts in Commander have activated abilities, Kurkesh seems like a strong commander for an artifact-based deck.
The key card with Kurkesh is Voltaic Key. With him, Voltaic Key essentially reads "1R: Untap target artifact". Basically, you copy the key's ability and target itself with it.
Combined with Gilded Lotus, you have infinite red mana. Combined with Urza's Blueprints, you have "1R: Draw a card" and so on and so forth. Getting the key out with Kurkesh means you're going to get a lot of value.

Keening stone? 25 card graveyard kills in 1 activation with general. 7 card graveyard kills in 2 activations with your general. I guess you'd have trouble with eldrazi though if they are in every deck shattering spree to go with lattice? phyrexian processor would probably outperform myr turbine
