Hey guys(or girls). I am new to both MTG Salvation and the EDH format. I am currently creating my first EDH deck, and this is the decklist I have drawn up. Any advice? I feel like I am missing something, but I'm not sure what.
The deck focuses on locking the opponents down and gaining card advantage, before slowly rolling over them with creatures like Blazing Archon and Vesuvian Shapeshifter.
I am working on a budget, so please don't suggest things like Moat ($200) or Mana Drain (your firstborn son). I know they are quite powerful, but I don't have the money.

How about emeria, the sky ruin recurs your creatures. Combos well with thawing glaciers
Maybe get rid of the mass land destruction?

are you trying to stay creature light? aura thief and academy rector are great. My sig has my arbiter list for some ideas. Its a competitive list though.
I don't mind changing the amount of creatures I have. I would rather stay light, since I can benefit from sweepers more, but I am willing to change it.

If you want to hit specific cards, play some mixture of Ponder, Preordain, Brainstorm, and Impulse.
If you want midgame advantage, cards like Jace, Architect of Thought and Future Sight are wonderful.
Some good late game draw spells include Recurring Insight, Sphinx's Revelation, Blue Sun's Zenith, and Stroke of Genius. Hope I helped.
