This deck originally started out as a Roon of the Hidden Realm deck, and was the first deck I really enjoyed playing. I feel that the black splash for the extra tutors and draw help the decks consistency, and theres not much in red for the blink theme that would convince me to go full on 5 color. i do have plans to put in a Shriekmaw as soon as i can get my hands on one.
I chose Horde of Notions because, in my meta, all the other 5 color generals are scary, and will get me hated off the table before the deck can take off. Horde is a sleeper hit though, and combos amazingly with Fertilid, Flickerwisp, Mulldrifter, and Reveillark, as well as the Shriekmaw i plan on fitting in.
Reveillark was the original card that made me want to go with a Reanimator subtheme, and with the recent addition of Karmic Guide, i felt that black was the most viable splash for this, while still keeping the manabase consistent. most of the creatures below 4cc are Reveillark targets, and Progenitor Mimic is the most expensive target, and also probably the best.
There is also a small Trinket Mage package, that provides enough utility to be useful in every situation.
Tormod's Crypt is searchable graveyard hate, when you dont have a Nezumi Graverobber. if Reanimator is a constant threat in your meta, i would recommend dropping something for a Relic of Progenitus as well.
Pithing Needle When i first built this deck, this was my answer to a particularly brutal Merike deck that was floating around my meta, and now with a Marath coming out of the woodwork, this card is bonkers, and nobody expects it in EDH. Combo with Venser for added value.
Skullclamp With the token production off of myr battlesphere, this card is consistent draw power. suiting up a fatty and going to town aint bad either.
All of the artifact lands are also fetchable, for added fixing in a pinch. i havent added the black artifact land due to not having it, and not needing it.
I highly recommend you try this deck out. It does not need to cast its general at all to win, and can function smoothly on its own. This deck was built to take the game long. Sit in the back and slowly build while everyone else throws fatties and answers at everyone else. then when everyone is slowing down, drop an aura shards and a duplicant, or a progenitor mimic, or some other threat, control the board and win the game.
If you have any comments or questions about card choices, are find a broken link or something, feel free to mention it. this is my first time posting a deck list

Sol Ring and Sensei's Divining Top are self explanatory.
