MTG Salvation

This deck used to be a Savra, Queen of the Golgari drege deck until I realized that I was never playing her and I wanted to add white to the deck for things like Sun Titan and Karmic Guide. That’s when I changed the deck to Karador, Ghost Chieftain and I have yet to look back at on my decision there is the obvious Karmic Guide Reveillark combo where I can get back a lot of my ETB effect creatures and either win outright via Gray Merchant of Asphodel or cripple my opponents into scooping via Acidic slime or draw my deck out with Solemn Simulacrum. I really want to get an Azusa, Lost but Seeking for the deck as well as soon as I can find one.

Might be a good idea to add some stuff to help protect your yard, like Witchbane Orb, and Leyline of Sanctity, or perhaps some counters. And Reanimate deserves a spot me thinks lol. You should add some cantrips that help get stuff in the yard like Grisly Salvage, Mulch, etc. Varolz, the Scar-Striped is A-OK, and Living Death.

Oh and also test Lotleth Troll and Rancor.

I like the idea of giving myself hexproof and I think that I would go with the Witchbane Orb over the lyline just because of the mana cost of the cards (that and the very rare instance of being able to destroy a curse attached to me). I think I would trade the animate dead for Reanimate. I have never been a fan of one shot effects like Grisly salvage I would rather run a tutor that can put stuff into my yard like Buried Alive or Jarad's Orders I'm not a fan of Varolz just simply because I hate exiling my own stuff especially in a deck where I want to cast my creatures from the yard not exile them.

hmmmmmmm I can see the troll getting tested just for the free discard effect but I have never been a fan of rancor unless I'm going the voltron way

Some more ideas to test if you start to lean more towards Reanimator, Deadbridge Chant, Dread Return, Life // Death, Vigor Mortis etc.

Deadbridge Chant is a little to slow for my liking. I've been thinking a lot about Dread Return latly especially with the flashback because nine times out of ten ill probably end up dredging it. Life // Deathused to be in the deck as well when it was more token focused and I would kill people via Triumph of the Hordes and Beastmaster Ascension. I don't like Vigor Mortis for its mana cost I would want more.

I personally prefer to run Animate Dead over Reanimate, since it can be recurred by effects like Sun Titan. Plus this allows Sun Titan to essentially reanimate any creature card in any graveyard, which is pretty spectacular.

I like your thinking my friend, anything that is Sun Titanable is always good. God I love that card so much.

I dont run Kharador anymore, but here are some of my favorite cards I didnt see.

Necrotic Sliver Too abuseable

Shadowborn Demon Sacs himself to be recast or gives you a 5/6 blocker the turn after.

Hey Sorry I didn't reply to this sooner. The Necrotic Sliver is something that I have been thinking a Lot about recently and will probably make the cut as soon as I get a hold of one/get home from Japan. I've wanted a Saffi Eriksdotter for a while as well but so far I have yet to see one for trade. I'm not sure about the Demon atm since its at the crucial 5 spot which I have a lot of in this deck and don't want to clog up my Birthing Pod engine as well.

No Angel of despair? in the pod lineup? That into Ashen Rider almost always gives you board advantage.

Also Abrupt Decay will take care of Rest in Peace and the like even if its a control deck running it, I cant think of any yard hate more than 3. Maybe your meta isnt playing much, but if you continue to play this deck I'm sure they will.

I think I may switch out the Reya Dawnbringer for the Angel of despair since there was only in there to be podded into since WWW can be hard to hit if i draw her. I think I may switch out Beast Within for Abrupt Decay functionally it does the same accept it cant hit the bigger things that beast can but I like the uncounterableness of it

This deck is missing Iona, Shield of Emera. Poding Karador into Iona is a huge advantage. Also, you need Academy Rector. Its tons of advantage and can win games. Next, you shoud have Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite. Patterns of Rebirth is another way to cheat out awesome threats. Also, use more creatures. I run 40 creatures, 26 lands, and the rest are combo pieces.

Also, Spore Frog and Benevolent Bodyguards make soft locks that wreck opponents. Sheoldred, the Whispering one is also an insanely good ramp target. STone forge mystic and an equpment engine.

Also, YOU MUST INCLUDE Kokusho, the Evening Star and Yosei, the Morning star. Both of them form pretty unstoppable lists.

No Stax? Braids, Cabal Minion and Smokestack have both won me many games.

Do not understand Serra Ascendant in this deck. Gift of Immortality is amazing with Sun Titan, and just plain great with the rest of the deck. Scry 1 infinite times? Infinite Mana? Ummm... Do you think you have enough sac outlets?

Hmmm, some decent stuff, but it needs room for Necromancy. Just like animate dead it can be rezzed with Sun Titan. Plus, it has FLASH! Oh, the trickery this card can accomplish!
