This thread won't look pretty for a while, I'll work on it.
Hey guys. This is my first OP in the commander forums, so that's fun. Lately I've been tinkering with a Lord of Tresserhorn EDH list, and while I haven't played it yet, it's starting to shape up nicely. The idea is to have as much redunancy as possible in order to consistently get out Tresserhorn on turn 4 or earlier without much of a drawback. We do this with a ton of recurrable creatures, such as Reassembling Skeleton and Gravecrawler, aswell as as many cheap tutors for Torpor Orb as we can. Without further ado, here's the decklist:
Game Plan
I feel silly writing this, since the game plan is extremely obvious. In the first three turns we are looking to do only 3 things:
1. Tutor Torpor Orb
2. Play mana rocks
3. Play our cheap recurrables
4. Tutor up a way to get Tresserhorn haste
We are aiming to swing with Tresserhorn on turn 4 or earlier, throwing the ball in our opponents' court. The combination of Tresserhorn's low CMC and high power mean that he's relevant at all points in the game. If they kill him once, he's still a 10 power beater for 6. If they kill him twice, he's still a 10 power beater for 8. And if it gets too bad, we can just tutor up our Rooftop Storm and laugh (very maniacally).
________________________________________________________________________________________ Draw Cards
Since this deck tends to put its entire hand on the field before turn 6, we run as many wheel effects as we can. Wheel of Fortune, Whispering Madness, and Windfall are this deck's best friend. Generally this'll be a drop 1 or 2 and draw 6 or 7. Notion Thief is also great with these... but it's kind of rude.
Tresserhorn always seemed like a good Voltron general, but he'd have to be very built around. Cut Charcoal Diamond because it sucks.

This deck is 100% built around Tresserhorn. I still haven't playtested it yet, and probably won't for a week or more, but the idea is to have as much redundant recursion and cheap tutor effects as possible, so as to minimize the blow of Tresserhorn's ETB effect. There are also some creatures that are beneficial to sac, like Mindslicer and Wonder.
Anyone know a few more creatures with good death effects?
