Hello, Just looking for some help with my Zur the Enchanter EDH deck. My group is Competitive, but we also like to have fun. I'm usually targeted first due to playing lockout cards so Im looking to make this deck the best I can to protect myself. Any Ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
Destroying opponents lands seems like a crappy move . I don't mind locking people out if I can to the best of my ability but just straight up destroying all of their lands is just Unfun . I'd rather kill them with combo first . Lol
Pro tip: Use the deck tags. Between that and organizing your list into sections, like you have done, it makes for much easier reading.
To get the autocard function to work with the deck tags, put a number in front of each card, and each card on it's own line. Words without numbers are assumed to be section headings.
You seem to be missing a few cards: Spellskite - Quite typical of Zur lists, "I'm sorry, was that removal spell meant for Zur?". i Am suPerman - This is a standard protection for Zur. Far better than Alexi's Cloak. Shroud, untap, and stat redistribution on demand. Phyrexian Arena - I think this is what you meant by Phyrexian Reclamation. Pretty handy with Solitary Confinement. But anti-synergy with Chains of Mephistopheles. Rhystic Study - Liable to draw you a few cards per turn cycle. How dare your opponents do things without offering you a tribute! But anti-synergy with Chains of Mephistopheles. Anvil of Bogardan - Combos with Chains of Mephistopheles. Let's get derpy! Angelic Renewal - A neat little insurance policy for your favorite creature. Pretty funny with Sun Titan too. Sol Ring - This is a standard auto-include for EDH. I understand why you might not want to run it, but it's worth it even if it does little more than push a guy out a turn sooner. Sensei's Divining Top - Also a standard auto-include for EDH. I think you're using Soothsaying for the same purpose, but this is better, unless disabled.
I'm sure there's more, but let's see what you do with these first.

I haven't seen Zur place in any events in a while, however I don't see it on the list of banned cards. Is there a reason he isn't placing anymore? (I think competitive EDH is silly, but I just want to make sure there isn't anything wrong with my deck)

The reclamation is for late game when I have stuff in the yard.
Chains is there because we have a lot of blue players that abuse card draw and sit and wait to counter all your good stuff.
Thanks for the suggestions though! Its nice to get an outside look from someone else.
Also I appreciate the tips on how to format the deck for easy reading. I should have separated them by function instead of card type, but it was late.
Any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks everyone.
Does this French List affect anything like LGS or anything like that? I've never played EDH outside my playgroup.
