Get Yeva out, protect Yeva, drop creatures, profit. Subtheme of fog and deathtouch effects to further ward enemies away from attacking me. Any advice would be appreciated. As this deck is a WIP, the list at the bottom indicates cards I haven't acquired yet. Advice would greatly appreciated: I'm not sure if I'm running enough ramp to justify the low land count, for starters.
Yeah, this decklist is actually incredibly out of date. I'll get around to updating it, but I think the only thing I've added on your list is Cultivate, Archetype of Endurance and Sylvan Library. I'm lazy though. =__=;;
I think you should give Masked Admirers and Erratic Portal another chance. I've been having success with both in my list, especially the Admirers. This type of deck can run out of gas at times, especially in the longer, grindier games. Admirers is a very subtle yet effective way to make sure that doesn't happen. The Portal isn't an all-star, but if your meta is removal-heavy, it's a great way to keep the cost of re-casting Yeva down. It's also randomly good with any ETB creature you have.
Yeva's rarely the target of hate in my meta, and if she is it's usually late enough in the game that I have enough mana to recast her regardless. I'll try Masked Admirers again, though, particularly because what you've noticed is very true when I play her.

I've really liked Summoner's Pact with Yeva. It's one of the most flexible responses possible and cheaper than Chord of Calling when you need it. Mana elves like Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdeuid have also been very good to me, even without a tribal elf theme. Flashing them in eot essentially gives you haste and you have an elf for a general, plus some other little utility elves. They offer a lot of return on mana. Setessan Tactics is great with the deathtouch stuff.

Yeah, the Pact was one of the cards I originally considered for this deck, but cut due to initial budgetary constraints. If I can figure out what to cut for it I will. And luckily I still have both of the elves left over from a previous project, so they can go in. Tactics is a maybe, though - I'm gonna be using my copy in the Pharika list I'm working on.
Any advice as to what to cut?

I'm not a huge fan of spellshapers like Dawnstrider. You have a lot of quality spells in your deck and few ways to get them back, so it would seem difficult to have to pick one to get rid of.
I also cut Arboria. Even though it sounds good because your creatures have flash, your lands and other non-creatures do not, and hitting land drops is very important for this deck.
Finally, I'm not a big fan of self-exiling effects, so Food Chain seems kinda lame for me. It's fine in a deck like Maelstrom Wanderer that wants to cast and re-cast the commander, but it's not so good here because you want Yeva to stay on the table. If you are trying to protect Yeva, you're better off using something like Erratic Portal.
EDIT: I would also cut Autumn's Veil because it's color-specific and that's never playable. Maybe Darksteel Plate cuz I'd want to save more than one creature.
