i have been interested on building a deck around her and this is what i came up with. i was aiming for a control/mill deck. i didnt want make mill the main win con since i usually only play multiplayer. but i have it in there to thin out other decks
I considered using her as a means of mill strategy since she exiles rather than regular mill which deals with the Eldrazi problem of milling in EDH but my list was geared more toward casting some abusive sorceries like Time Stretch and Army of the Damned for free.
Attempt to secure Jelava with Lightning Greaves or Darksteel Plate if possible and then swing away.
Maze of Ith untaps her and removes her from combat to get her to trigger without getting blocked and so you can kick Blood Tribute.
We'll abuse high CMC cards like Cruel Ultimatum with Jelava's ability and other midrange cards like Breath of Malfegor with card recursion like Archaeomancer and Recoup.
