so far I really like Daxos as a general, although he seems far better suited to 1v1 than multiplayer.
My main issue is I'm not really sure where I'm going with this deck. I'm not sure if I want to make a super-competetive voltron/hard control deck that does nothing but swing with daxos, an inefficient but hilarious not-so-competetive Steal All the Things deck or what I have now which is somewhere in the middle.
I played a super grindy game last night because I realized I didn't have Kozilek or any way to shuffle my graveyard in or recur stuff, so I added a half-decent recursion package and the Kozy.
For the moment I'm basically winning by ether ripping some obscene bomb out of an enemy deck like Vorinclex or Rise of the Dark Realms, or by assembling a butt-ton of mana and blinking Jace's Mindseeker over and over for obscene card advantage.
If you're going to play Daxos you kind of want to utilize his unique abilty right? I mean, that's why I imagine I'd pick him as my general. I'd recommend "top of library" removal spells like Unexpectedly Absent, Spin Into Myth, and Oust to set up Daxos while removing things from your opponent's board state. Giving him double strike works really well both for more triggers and with voltron wins, so things like Silverblade Paladin and Fireshrieker are there. Of course, a suite of Swords is good for a guy who might get multiple combat triggers, as is Strionic Resonator. His buddy Medomai the Ageless helps with even more triggers. And double striking and resonator on that guy can pretty much be the end of the world for your opponents. Jace, the Mind Sculptor is of course a very good add for any blue deck but for Daxos' ability, the fateseal is actually very relevant.

hmm... I actually hadn't thought about that, basing the deck around manipulating my opponents' topdecks and getting multiple triggers does seem like a good idea. I might even be able to work in a few pet cards like Psychic Surgery.
