This is my try at a Sisters of Stone Death EDH deck. Basically, focus on heavy ramp, then controlling their board with Sisters of Stone Death while beating them down with other finishers. Also, eight cards over, so any cuts are greatly appreciated.
Also, as a testament to this deck's consistent ramp (note the budget of $30), I did five goldfish runs with the deck. The mana access amounts at the end of turn 4 / start of turn 5 were, in order, 9, 6, 8, 7, 8.
All come on man...with all the Theros gorgons this is the time to go go gorgon tribal!
Just kidding. Looks interesting, I really like the idea of running a ton of ramp to take advantage of the Sisters' ability. Perhaps Urborg + Coffers in your land base could allow you to remove a little ramp to fit other things in? Remember...when your commander is black they may be the figurehead of the deck...but more often then not Coffers is running the show
Oh, they would have definitely been some of the first cards in the deck if they were cheaper... The deck is on a $30 budget, so, Coffers ($10) + Urborg ($15) = $25, which is basically the price of the rest of the deck... But thanks! Sisters has a really cool ability I think, except it's really mana intensive, so heavy ramp lets me bring her out at a relevant time, and then control the board from there. I can cast her turn 5 pretty consistently usually, but a lot of the time, I wait a bit, and respond to some of their noncreature threats, or play another beater first.
What are your thoughts on Recycle / Null Profusion? I realize they're risky, but in my meta there isn't really discard, and they seem to be pretty fun once you have lots of lands, cuz you just power through. Death Cloud seems to be the best finisher. When you have 15 lands and they have 8, Death cloud for 8, to wrath their field, except you have 7 lands... pretty brutal...
