I recently picked up the Marath starter and started playing multiplayer EDH. I wanted to make the deck more competitive so I searched for suiting cards and made som upgrades. I have gone for a Beast/ Big guys theme along with enchantements that make my guys/Marath better.
Tell me what you think about the deck. I am rather new to this whole EDH format and some advice would be nice.
This really just looks like a slightly upgraded pre-con, honestly I feel like you have lots of pointless cards such as Replenish. I recently built a deck for this general and I love it as a good tie between casual and competitve. I have lots of solid choices that interact with the general, but not too many, and just solid cards in R/W/G. The general is one of the best designed for EDH, as it's never a dead card and it's always useful throughout all stages of the game, from turn 3, it's a 3/3, and on turn 10, it can be much larger.
Mine isn't overboard expensive, but it does have some $20 cards in there, because their powerful. It includes tons of synergies, just enough tutors, and some powerhouse finishers and tons of interaction with with opponents. I feel like this is one of the most balanced and powerful "fair" decks I've in a while from EDH, and I'm happy to pilot it.
