Once all of the legendary creatures were spoiled for C13 I felt as though Shattergang Brothers was the best general out of the whole bunch and probably the best Jund general there is (although that can be disputed). Awhile back I played an Adun Oakenshield list for awhile, but never really felt as though he held his weight so that deck idea slowly drifted away and I picked up my current list of Jenara, Asura of War. Now that I have played Jenara for awhile, I feel as though I want to expand my horizons and invest into another deck in addition to playing Jenara. Shattergang Bros is the general I have been looking for. When looking at these guys a few things stand out to me:
1. They are a 4-drop general. Cheap and very recastable.
2. Reoccurring removal in the form of a general, is one of the most powerful effects in EDH, especially in my playgroup (i.e. Barrin, Master Wizard)
3. They do and do not scream "Build around me!" Shattergang Bros can be a goodstuffs general while being able to add effects that are nice for their specific build.
4. They are goblin brothers, who blow stuff up.
What I am trying to do with the Shattergang Bros is build a list that is capable of getting value off each of their abilities, especially sacrificing creatures. With that, I include a lot of ETB creatures so I am capable of getting value from both ETB and then sacing them of when needed.
Really just looking for some suggestions. I am very open minded into make changes according to new ideas that fit better for the deck.
(P.S. I am not an insta-win combo player, and am not interested in putting insta-win combos in my list. Unless there are cards that are simply just value cards that happen to interact with each other for insta-win such as Eternal Witness, Time Warp, and Venser, the Sojourner.)
ON THE FENCE ABOUT Butcher of Malakir & Grave Pact - Often put these cards in other stax-like builds, yet I can't seem to bring them into the list. I am not really trying to be super staxy in this list. Terastodon - Terastodon seems like a great choice. He can turn some permanents you do not need into creatures for sacing or just outright blow up noncreature permanents of your opponents. Unfortunately he has been outclassed by Sylvan Primordial and does not put you ahead the way Sylvan Primordial does. Still an effect I am thinking about making room for more. In addition, he could serve as an 8-drop for my many 7-drop creatures to Birthing Pod into. Woodfall Primus - See Terastodon above. Grave Titan - ETB and token production seems on point for my current build. Just have yet to find room. Farseek/Nature's Lore - Currently focusing on creature-ETB ramp, but something I will most likely move forward to.
Hammer of Purphoros: haste is cool with token gens, makes dudes that can be sacked as any shattergang mode
Whip of erebos: lifelink nice, retrigger etb guys
Both are also enchantment artifacts for double sac utility
I completely forgot about the God Weapons and how them being both enchantments and artifacts make them more versatile for sacrificing to Shattergang Brothers.
I think I am going to shrink my token production for the most part, so Hammer of Purphoros doesn't sound like what I want to do for now, but potentially if I increase my token production. As for the Whip, I am going to find a spot for it. It doubles on ETB value, is an enchantment and artifact and doubles creatures being sacrificed by Shattergang Brothers, and gives lifelink to all your creatures to boot.
I considered Sword of Feast and Famine originally in the list and am most likely going to make room for it. I also think utilizing Buried Alive with that package is a great idea.
Xenagos because he can create you tokens to sac without losing loyalty/ is also good ramp Sarkhan Vol can steal an opponents best creature to be sac'd.
Garruk #1 is really good ramp which is the man reason to run him and can make tokens though he losses loyalty for it

Unfortunately sacrificing Whipped creature still get exiled
I may have to make room for the Hammer, though.' I forgot it was all three permanent types that Shattergang Brothers activate off of.
Stalking Vengeance
Vicious Shadows
Melira, Sylvok Outcast
Sword of Feast and Famine is very good in this type of deck.
Buried Alive for Reassembling Skeleton, Squee, and Bloodghast.
Aspect of Mongoose for another continually recurring enchantment.

Abundant Growth
Wall of Blossoms
Elvish Visionary
Sarkhan Vol can steal an opponents best creature to be sac'd.
Garruk #1 is really good ramp which is the man reason to run him and can make tokens though he losses loyalty for it
Another surprisingly useful card is Epochrasite
I plan on changing up my Jund deck for them but I'm going more Superfriends.
