Defender is my favourite keyword ability in Magic, and I've wanted to make a defender deck in Commander for a while. This deck isn't crazy competitive, but it can hold its own against many decks.
This deck uses many efficient creatures with defender to ward off opponents' attacks. Many of the defenders have synergies - the more I get, the stronger my resources are. The deck also uses artifacts and enchantments to lock down attackers.
The primary game plan is to use the AxebaneAlchemist combo for infinite mana and sink it into Jenara. Other win conditions include Glittering Wish for any of a number of enormous creatures, and using Mirrorweave to turn all of my defenders into a creature that's actually, you know, intimidating.
I did use Angus Mackenzie as my Commander initially. However, I found that the deck is already capable of defending itself without using him. I also decided that I needed a mana sink for the infinite mana combo to be relevant. Jenara fit the bill nicely, and she usually only takes a couple of turns to deal the 21 damage.
I'm looking for criticism and advice on the deck. Keep in mind that this is my "casual" deck, so utilizing the defender synergies and using cute win conditions is my aim.

Pemmin's Aura and Freed from the Real need to go in as they're better alternatives to Galvanic Alchemist. Also toss in Overgrown Battlement for a similar effect to Axebane Guardian.
If you're going with massive amounts of mana, I suggest you throw in some x cmc stuff like Genesis Wave, Sphinx's Revelation, Biomass Mutation, and Increasing Confusion.
I also suggest Fog Bank and Guard Gomazoa as they are excellent defenders. Wall of Nets is good too, and Colfenor's Urn is a nice way to recover lost walls too. Angelic Chorus is a must-have here! I also think you should try running some more Counterspells
Just walls, because walls (originally) inherently always had defender. Walls are a creature type whereas defender is an ability.
