I have no idea where to jump in, so I will start here....
Ring of Three Wishes - you are running BU which have many tutors available, some are even dirt cheep $ like transmute cards.
Static Orb, Winter Orb, Meekstone, ect. these are theme based cards, but I am not finding a theme, it just seems to be a giant list of commonly used artifacts.
What is your goal with this deck? How do you intend it to play?
Sorry for not commenting on this thread about the deck. I was in a hurry and only had time to post the list.
Basically the way that the deck works is it just uses alot of artifacts for a huge board presence. In play I've noticed that if you bring enough "game-altering" cards (static orb, grand arbiter, ect..) eventually it becomes too much pressure and forces players to make decisions on what to destroy or what to bounce/counter. If a player makes a "bad" or "wrong" choice on what to blow up it clears the way for me to play more intimidating artifacts (Master trasnmuter, Magister Sphinx). Basically alot of the time what seems like the best option to blow up probably isn't because chances are there is something worse sitting in my hand or in the graveyard waiting to come back. Or, if any of my artifacts get blown up I can Sharuum to get them back.
Playing game state changing cards every turn or playing multiple threats a turn sadly draws alot of hate so in multi-player games I often find I'm the target So I basically found a bunch of anti-creature cards (Satic orb, Portcullis, Ensaring Bridge) and put them all in here so I can bring as much presence as possible.
As for the theme it's basically just a bunch of sick artifacts that do a bunch of cool stuff!! Where Sharuum lets me reanimate artifacts I figured I would play with as many artifacts as I could (Minus obviously the planeswalkers and few non-artifact creatures).
I agree however with what you said about the tutoring, there are better tutors I could us. I was using those tutors because they're not one shot tutors even though they cost more mana. One thing I do find kinda hit or miss is the amount of creatures in the deck. Sometimes I could have enough creatures to get me by or be able to go get some. But sometimes I don't have enough creatures and a bunch of artifacts. While if this happens I'm altering the game a bunch, I can't swing with non-creature artifacts for the win.
Honourable mentions!!
I know of the Sharuum + Phyrexian Metamorph + glassdust hulk combo and if I were to enter a tournament with this deck I would make those changes but I don't want to run infinite combos in EDH (Even though I have Niv's Disk + Darksteel Forge)
