So, hello! I'm basically as new as you could be here, literally just joined But I do want feedback on this deck, due to it being the first Commander deck I've ever actually made and the fact that I want to look into Commander deeper. But I do have a story to share beforehand, so here's my story (and how I basically spent my childhood):
I started playing Magic a year after I started playing Yu-Gi-Oh, when I was about six (pretty young for Magic but I was pretty intent on learning and was able to play pretty well but that's enough of that). I played only within a group of three people - my uncle, my grandmother, and my brother (off and on). My Uncle was the best player I'd known, even when I heard people talking about the game. He went to tournaments and would constantly claim prizes, and his decks were much more complicated and awesome-looking than my feeble 'red does damage and green has big monsters' decks that I played with his extras. Even so, I always, -always- pestered to play against his 'Pro Deck', which was pretty cool.
When I was around eight, my uncle stopped playing the game. And when he stopped, so did my grandmother and my brother, meaning that I was the only person that had any interest in the game anymore. His cards gathered dust, and I gave up magic shortly after. Then, a few years ago, I started playing YGO on the local, casual level at a hobby-shop my dad found. It was fun, but the YGO community was, honestly, very hostile and even with the friendly atmosphere of the shop, it became a sort of dog-eat-dog game and I made friends, but had to constantly deal with the annoying meta and pretty unsportsmanlike behavior.
Pretty bored and tired of the repetitive game, I gave up YGO. Literally a day later, my uncle gave me his entire collection of Magic cards. So I started going to Friday Night Magic, pretty surprised by the sudden acceptance by everyone there despite knowing I was a complete noob (got a lot of free cards, too xD) so I played in the drafts and have been constructing a pretty mediocre but functional Sliver deck, however, last Friday, I learned of Commander. I played a game using a borrowed deck and was instantly hooked. So naturally, I wanted to build my own... but my collection is pretty insufficient. But then I remembered that I didn't have to rely on my small stack of 2014 cards.
My uncle used a dragon deck, but it was a multi-color Dragon Legend deck. As soon as I got home, I tore right into that deck and examined every single card that I had a fixation of. This commander deck, which I spent much of a week building, has a lot of sentimental value - but I am willing to put that aside to have a better flowing, more enjoyable deck. I have a limited budget but I am able to buy additional cards if I absolutely have to. Also, the cards that make up most of this deck are rather outdated, and my knowledge of newer, smoother cards is very... weak
:: STRATEGY ::
The deck isn't exactly very fast, and tends to take a few turns to get started (which is what I want to fix the most), but centers around bringing out the big-bad legendaries, keeping them there, and claiming all five basic lands ASAP. I did have Coalition Victory in the deck, but I took it out because I feel like in commander, it kind of takes from the fun (especially considering that the deck could win very easily with it). Needless to say, I removed it. Reanimation and quick summoning (with things like Dragon Arch and Dragonstorm
Cromat isn't the most versatile of commanders, but due to it's ability to not just allow but extend the use of all five colors, I prefer it. Once again, there may be a more suitable commander, but I am unaware of one.
I personally prefer Scion of the Ur-Dragon as the commander for a dragon deck. Combine that with a little reanimation, and you get even more value. Plus, it's only worth a dollar more than Cromat.

Should find a lot of good advice there. Also my list that is currently under construction can be found here:
