Hi ! I already posted this deck list on the forum, but it was the wrong place so I deleted it and i'm gonna post it here. Like I said on the other thread, I would like some help with this EDH deck. I've been working on it for a few weeks now, but it still needs some adjustments, and i'm running out of ideas.
The idea of the deck is to use alot of artifacts to be able to get them back easily with glissa's ability. It's kind of a toolbox thing with also a recursion theme. But if any of you play Glissa differently, I will gladly take your advices too. I just need some ideas, because right now i'm kind of stuck.
-Cards I know I need : Sol ring, Demonic Tutor, Damnation, Mindslaver, Lightning Greaves, Avenger of Zendikar, Various Lands.
-Cards I'm not sure about keeping : Horizon Spellbomb, Eyeblight's Ending.
Here are some of my concerns with it:
-Although this deck is mainly for multiplayer, I would like if it could be able to hold it's part in 1v1, which is something I don't think it's able to do yet.
-Creature wise, I really don't think it's there yet. I can't figure if I have enough or too many big creatures, and I feel like I lack smaller ones, because early game I rarely have anything on board, creature-wise, except Glissa.
- I am on a semi-budget, so the mana base is obviously lacking some stuff, but I tried to do what I could with it. Maybe you guys have suggestions to improve it a bit ?
- Lastly, I feel like the deck is lacking some win-condition. I don't want an infinite combo or anything, but I would like the deck to have some kind of win-con (there's exsanguinate, but yeah..), especially for 1v1.
I agree on the Horizon Spellbomb cut. I tested it because Weebo's primer list runs it, but I've found it to be one of the slowest trinkets in the deck. It's cute that it is recurrable by Glissa, but it's also a 4 mana investment just to draw a card and put a basic into your hand. For that price, I'd run either Wayfarer's Bauble or even something like Nature's Lore.
You also probably have enough spot removal between your spells, 187 critters, and trinkets to be able to cut Eyeblight's Ending. Dropping both of these should give you room for other things you would like to try.

Soultion 2.
Drop about half the ramp and draw cards instead... Especially the mana doublers they don't really help you much here once you have 9 ish mana it doesn't matter anymore.
Recursion.
Do you want your deck to be a recursion deck or just an explosive ramp deck?... atm you are really lacking in the recursion department. You are a glissa deck.. you can recur artifacts... you are a black deck you can recur creatures... you want almost all of your deck to be artifacts or creatures.
I have just the 8 non creature and non artifact spells in my deck... mostly instant speed spot removal.
Otherwise you can do everything else with creatures and artifacts.
Trading post and salvaging station... back up Glissa's... I can still win games without glissa fairly easily because I can set up one of these back up recursion value engines if they leave me for a few turns I will out card them.

I agree with the fact that maybe i have a few too many ramps, but when I started playing the deck, I was always outsped by my opponents, which led me to think that i didn't have enough. The mana doublers though, are there to help Exsanguinate.
Trading Post seems like an excellent card, I'll try to get one.
As for Oblivion Stone and Wurmcoil Engine, I already thought about those, but decided to save the money for other cards that I felt I needed more, but will add them to the deck enventually. Plague Boiler. I've never been really sold on this card, it has to be able to stay like 3 turns on board to be able to work, which gives plenty of time to opponents to get rid of it. I never played it though, I sure can give it a try.
With Mikeaus in play, all of your non-human creatures have undying.
Triskelion is a 1/1 (2/2 with Mike), and comes into play with 3 +1/+1 counters on him. You remove one, targeting other creatures/players, and then the remaining two targeting himself, killing him. Undying brings him back with 4 +1/+1 counters. You burn two on other targets, the remaining on him, and the cycle repeats.
Also, for the Grave Titan/Myr Battlesphere + Nim Deathmantle + Ashnod's Altar combo, the point is not damage, but infinite colorless mana generation. As such, Blasting Station is not a replacement.

Thank you, I'll try to get Ashnod Altar then. If I want to use that combo for damage, I can go blasting station ?
Hey, would Braids, Cabal Minion be a good addition to the deck? Ive been tempted to add her for a while now but im afraid shes gonna hurt me too much, any1 have experience with her?

stuff
Yeah, I kinda like the Nature's Lore idea, thanks!
Tooth and nail... meh.. it isn't like your combing off.. it isn't really doing a lot.
Solution 1
Perhaps you should be comboing off...
Mikeaus the unhallowed... tooth and nail with triskelon win game.
you have grave titan, Myr battlesphere and Nim's deathmantle.. you just need ashond's altar and you infinite combo off.

Phyrexian areana?... bloodgift deamon?.... graveborn muse?.

No Wurmcoil engine?... only 1 Artifact board wipe? (Oblivion stone?, Plague boiler?)

wow, that's more info than I expected, thanks !
For the mikaeus, the unhallowed/tooth and nail/triskelion combo, I wasn't aware of it, I'll take a look. How does it work exactly?
For the grave titan/myr battlesphere +
nim deathmantle and ashonod's altar, I don' have the altar yet, would Blasting Station work ?

But yeah thanks dude! thats more than I expected
The "Mike and Trike" combo works thusly:
With Mikeaus in play, all of your non-human creatures have undying.
Triskelion is a 1/1 (2/2 with Mike), and comes into play with 3 +1/+1 counters on him. You remove one, targeting other creatures/players, and then the remaining two targeting himself, killing him. Commander
BBB - Erebos, MBC
GB - Glissa, Recursion Valuetown
UB - Wrexial/Phenax Mill
UBR - Nekusar, Mindwheeler
R - Feldon, God of Reanimation(?!?!)
Thank you, I'll try to get Ashnod Altar then. If I want to use that combo for damage, I can go blasting station ?
Mikeaus in general loves that card.
Tatterkite + Mikeaus + blasting station is also an infinite combo.
As Is Melria, sylvok outcast + anything with persist (e.g woodfall primus) + Blasting station.
she is also good with black sun zenith since then you don't wipe your side of the board.

No, you need the altar to get the mana to keep activating the equipment, so you can't replace it with blasting station.
