I'm still figuring out how to play this deck, but I really like it. It's got power to it, and it's hard to hold back and look at a hand that could easily kill a player or two without going for it. So far I've made some fun splashy plays with it, but I keep straying from the gameplan I designed the deck for: Late Game Voltron. I get to mid-game and I'm like “Argh, I just need to play Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius and stick Sword of Kaldra on him, it's too good!” And I don't have counter backup and end up staring Cyclonic Rift in the face. The uber-intelligent dragon must be quite annoyed at being piloted by an impatient aggro-player.
I've played a combo-heavy infinite mana burn the table version of this deck for a bit, but one of my regular crew pointed out that I often seem less than satisfied when I win with combo. It was a valid point. It's thrilling to set up a combo and attempt to go off with it, but nobody ever goes “Wow, you really combo'd off on us, that was awesome!”. They shrug, shuffle up, and get ready for the next game. So I asked myself what I really enjoyed in a deck, and the answer, as usual, is smashing in for damage. Well this particular general is pretty good at that.
What I like about the DracoGEEENeus is he's versatile. As a pinger, a card advantage engine, and a dealer of death, he's a general I want to play and do stuff with every game.
There's still one combo in here, Aggravated Assault/Sword of Feast and Famine, but though I can tutor or the sword, I can't for the enchantment, so I'd have to draw into it, which I haven't yet.
Inferno Titan and my general himself also enjoying wearing Charisma, as well as any of the deathtouch equipments.
Ral Zarek I threw in here because I wanted to play him, and this seemed the deck in which to use him. But he's pretty dang useful. Untap Sol Ring and tapdown a blocker? Sure. And getting his ultimate off should give the 'Genius plenty of chances to kill everyone.
Overblaze is a good idea, which got me looking... I think Psychotic Fury trumps it, though I can only use it on a couple of creatures in this deck. Red cantrip is a cantrip.
I have an Empyrial Plate, and I have no idea why it's not in the list. Will have to try it out.
Izzet Boilerworks would be good if there wasn't so much land destruction (spot and mass) in my meta. It is another great untap option with Ral....
Playing this deck reminds me of using a higher level car in a racing game, where it's speed and difficulty handling makes it more likely to crash into walls, but once you get the hang of it it's a sweet ride. I'm still crashing around, but still fun.

I have had Rhystic Study out while also having Charisma on Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind. That's fun.
