I always loved Simic but more than that, i loved Bant. And when i got introduced to EDH my first reaction was to make a Prime Speaker Zegana deck, but sticking with only simic cards didn't seen right for me (at the time, even one of the cards i like the most, Progenitor Mimic wasn't realised yet), so i moved on to a Rafiq deck. It was really nice and quite competitive, but i wasn`t really happy by it's 1WGU cost, so when i met Jenara i was enchanted.
I played her online for quite some time with a list that i stole from ISBPathfinder (http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?p=6514815), which is really good by the way, but not long ago i dicided it was time to make my own Jenara list.
As i was building the deck i discovered that Venser, the Sojouner had so much synergy with a lot of the cards i loved, like Stoneforge Mystic, Treachery, Phyrexian Metamorph, Solemn Simulacrum, Duplicant, Eternal Witness, and so on. So at the beggining i decided to make a deck that had a lot of cards that do something nice the moment they enter the battlefield. Remember Zegana right? Yeah, she's insane with Venser.
So i build the deck and played some time online and i finally proxied it and went to play with some friends, the deck was amazing in 1v1 but kinda of poor in multiplayer matchs. Playing more and more with the deck i discovered that my mana base was really bad, at the time i only used 32 lands and had 8 ways to ramp, so as i tested i included more lands and noticed that the deck was getting more realible. And as i played more and more against some really good players they tought me some lessons about playing this beautiful format.
I've changed my list a lot, it's not about Venser anymore, but it stills there. I did even cut Zegana which brokes my hearth, but i guess it's for the best. I hope you enjoy the list.
And also, what do you think about Rafiq into a creature slot? Is it worth to stick with Venser, Shaper Savant or a Man-o-war is better?
And about Venser, the Sojourner there haven't been a game that i drawed him and that he wasn`t awesome. So i don`t think he deserves to be cuted.
Also i fell like Mirari's Wake is probably good in any deck that can run it, and in decks like this that draw a lot of cards it's just awesome because you gain a lot of mana to cast those spells, and in the worse case it gives you a lot of mana to bump Jenara, i guess it's too good to cut.
Hello magic lovers, I've made some changes in the deck and i will commentate them in this post.
First of all: Mystical Tutor,
I felt like i needed a way to get the board cleaner and i didn't wanted to be running a lot of wrath effects (i like my creatures godamn it), so this gave me a lot of options, by including it, other two cards came in mind: Supreme Verdict (being uncounterable is really relevant), and Entreat the Angels (Tutoring it always allow me to miracle it). Not only for those, which are new additions to the deck, but also for Natural Order and Cyclonic Rift, which are also great. So Mystical Tutor definitly deserves it's spot by its flexibility.
I also added Survival of the fittest, Fauna Shaman and Eladmir's Call for more creature tutoring. It's so good to have a lot of options and this cards give you many. They definitly deserve the spots. TABLE FOR 3!
As another mana producer i added a Lotus Cobra, which is really good with Azusa, Lost but Seeking,Oracle of Mul Daya and the 9 Fetch lands the deck let me use. The same can be said to Emeria Angel which is the newest Angel side to side with Linvana, and which is awesome with Skullclamp and i really like the birds anyway, it's fells like Bitterblossom.
I also added Stifle as it's really annoying to get a fetch destroyed by it and it's always useful.
Tezzeret the Seeker was taken out of the deck when i took Nevinyrral's Disc out of the deck, but it came back as i added Crucible of Words because i wanted to be as annoying as i could with Wasteland and Stripe Mine.
Oh man, i remembered i had this card when i has a kid and i did not like it, now the card is gone and all i have is a proxy =P
Edit, had in hands for lots of turns but always felt i had something better to play. My oponent had 7 cards in hand and i had 4, didn't felt like it was the right moment to play. But still this card can be great.
My expirience with Jenara, Asura of War.

The second big addition was Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger that took place of Prime Speaker Zegana which i really like but i felt like the Praetor would do it better. Now Vorinclex and Progenitor Mimic divide the spot of being tutored with Natural Order depending on the game.
I also added Survival of the fittest, Fauna Shaman and Eladmir's Call for more creature tutoring. It's so good to have a lot of options and this cards give you many. They definitly deserve the spots. TABLE FOR 3!
Not done with the tutoring i added Captain Sisay and some other legends, incluind 1 legendary lands of each color GWU.
Here is what she can tutor and why i think she deserves a spot:
Eiganjo CastleW
Gaea's CradleG
Minamo, School at Water's EdgeU
Kor Haven
Yavimaya Hollow
Edric, Spymaster of Trest
Vendillion Clique
Jenara, Azura of War
Linvana, Keeper of Silence (New addition, really shines in a lot of games, it's the creature i've most tutorable so far)
Kira, Great Glass-Spiner (New addition, just stupidly good)
Azusa, Lost but Seeking (New addition, I was hesitated of adding this because the spots are really disputated, but it has proven its value)
Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger (New addition, breaks theis legs while let you cast everything you want or pump Jenara)
Umezawa's Jittle
I changed the Garruk, Wildspeaker for a Garruk, Primal Hunter cause i felt he was stronger and i really wanted to draw some cards.
I added a Enlightened Tutor because it's just so OP.
At least i added a Memory Jar because it just gives you a lot of card advantage, and even more if you have Oracle of Mul Daya or Azusa, Lost but Seeking in the field.
