This is my current decklist for my Ezuri deck. I'm fairly new to EDH and could really use any sort of advice and card suggestions to improve this deck. Thanks!
overrun is redundant with your general. Depending on whether your group allows you or not, winter orb is great for elf based decks. asceticism is fairly bad and somewhat redundant as well. In most groups, artifact ramp is everywhere so I run seeds of innocence and creeping corrosion as well as null rod. wirewood herald is a great card for when your commander gets tucked, or just in general for getting utility. Cavern of souls is a nice addition to a tribal deck, but i can understand if there are budget constraints. If there aren't, gaea's cradle is great. skullclamp or just card draw in general would be nice as they are excellent ways to refill your hand after you dump it into play.Staff of domination for randomly going infinite and just being a nice source of card draw. Hope that helps!

also, this is my personal opinion so take it with a grain of salt, I would cut obsidian battle axe cause i think you have an aggro enough low end of the curve to accomplish what that would do. If you are interested in haste concordant crossroads would be an option to consider. 3 other cards to think about would be garruk's horde, indrik stomphowler and worldly tutor
hmm i shall put in wordly tutor and wirewood herald but what other cards to take out? my creature count is at 41, is that amount appropriate? thanks for the suggestions. would love to hear even more
My friend plays a pretty stout Ezuri deck. Things that jump out at me: you're missing Wirewood Symbiote. It allows you to play any ETB effect again that turn while doubling the output of any 'tap for mana' elf. Also, Nettle Sentinel. He and Birchlore Rangers allow you to string together a bunch of 1cc creatures in one turn. As already mentioned Winter Orb is a back breaking staple of elf decks. You should be producing mana at an incredible pace without your lands after a couple turns. The typical best play is drop Gaea's Cradle followed by Winter Orb.
There's also little reason for the equipment. Ezuri decks don't win by swinging with Ezuri or having him out there for an extended period. You don't need to tap him for his ability so unless he's countered you've got use of it that turn and that should be enough to make a hoard of +6/+6 to +12/+12 tramplers.
Throw a Birds of Paradise in there. You want as many 1cc mana producers in there as possible and as low a curve as possible. The only fatties in there should be ones that win or give huge advantage. Terastodon, Vorinclex, Craterhoof Behemoth, etc. And you want to cheat them out early with Natural Order when possible. If my friend has a Natural Order in his opening hand it's pretty much game over. You're looking at a 3T Vorinclex in most cases. Remember you can always GSZ for 0 to get Dryad Arbor then sac it Natural Order. Also, don't forget Tooth and Nail. This deck produces so much mana you can entwine TnN quite early. It's just another big move if your swarm strategy has been shut down by a tucked, or otherwise incapacitated, Ezuri. People will often run some Eldrazi in their deck for the same reason. Green doesn't have a lot of removal so an unanswered annihilator 4 can save a game if the board state has turned against you.
So this is my updated decklist, I have considered most of your suggestions and really appreciate it. Some of the cards are simply too expensive like Natural Order and Tooth and Nail. I wouldn't say this is a budget deck but I'm just not willing to spend more than 10 on a single card. Anyway, how's this new decklist then?
I haven't seen it mentioned here, but Eternal Witness is very good. Its won me a couple games by grabbing back dead Lords or non-creature spells from my graveyard. It's not an elf, but definitely worth running.
Slate of Ancestry to fill your hand and Aluren to play it? While this is almost the definition of all-in, it can be fun to play your deck out over a turn or three.
Cheers!

If in the area, check out Gamers N Geeks and Mini War Games in Mobile, Alabama and Underhill's Games in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
If you are looking for cuts, I recommend Wirewood Herald, as he has to die to get the tutor effect. I am also not a fan of Wellwisher. Lifegain is really subpar in EDH as you still die to 21 points of Commander damage. Gaea's Anthem is also pretty weak. An additional +1/+1 on top of what Ezuri gives is almost meaningless. That effect is fine when stapled on to an elf or a card with other effects, but should not be a focus. Heedless One is just a big beater and Ezuri makes ALL of your elves huge. Frontier Guide has an expensive ability that is relatively meaningless with all the mana dorks.
Argothian Elder and Maze of Ith is another way to generate infinite green mana during your attack phase.
Sorry if the above comes off wrong, but I am in a hurry.

Aside from that, cards you may want to consider I didn't see mentioned for their synergistic value with your deck are Bramblewood Paragon, Seedborn Muse, Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury and Elvish Soultiller. Other cards worthy of note are Vigor, Champion of Lambholt, and Doubling Season.
Cheers!
