So my Vorinclex loaner deck did not get loaned out very often. After a while, I just decided to make the deck into something I would like to play a lot. My criteria:
1. Put a stop to those blue-based artifact combo decks running rampant in the meta. Freaking no one else is bothering to pay 1 for the Rhystic Study, so I guess I will have to step up and be "that guy."
2. If no one has figured out how to answer blue, then of course no one has started blowing up lands. I can get away with murder and have >9000 Forests on the battlefield.
3. I have always wondered what was up with the Stax aficionados on this forum, so I decided to partake. Go go gadget Annihilator.
It may not look that different from my old list, but that is only because the IRL version of that list was super budget. This deck has a superb track record, recently pulling the victory out from under the blue player who landed a turn-3 Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur. It is shocking how far a little enforced mana screw can take you!
Most of the cards removed were too situational. Hunter's Insight may return, however. Restore is undergoing testing. I want it to be good, I really do!
So far no one has ever just wrecked me with Armageddon or Wake of Destruction. Still ramping and getting away with it, even though every game with this deck turns into archenemy. It's not like my meta isn't full of strong decks; it's just like no one wants to change what they are doing. I'll give it some more time.
I felt the need to mention how ridiculous Tempt With Discovery has been. I recently added it to this deck in place of Mwonvuli Acid Moss... The impact this card has is staggering, like a 4-mana Primeval Titan that puts lands in untapped. It rarely matters what your opponents grab when you cast this guy on turn 3 and follow it up with another ramp spell. Its interaction with Rofellos and Lotus Cobra is just gravy; I've landed two turn-3 Vorinclex in the last week because of the shameless ramp.
It reminds me a lot of Rhystic Study. Don't take the tempting offer, people.
Will update the OP soon, though I realize I might be talking to myself.

On the other hand, the other cards added are solid. Polukranos is stellar. Bane of Progress must have been printed with this deck in mind. Null Rod is a kick in the nuts. Loaming Shaman gives me graveyard hate outside of Primal Command. And holy crap, Hall of Gemstone and Ritual of Subdual are just plain unfair.
