I am making a Gwafa Deck for a few reasons:
1. He's been on the docket for a long time
2. He's not a commonly played general
3. Most importantly, I knew there was a reason I kept my old Guardians CCG cards.
My deck is theme based for casual play and I wanted to include as many business/commerce feeling cards as possible. Just to be clear, I'm only calling the deck "The Tax Man." I'm not actually after any sort of tax theme and I've recently cut Ghostly Prison, Propaganda and Leonin Arbiter for this reason. I've also cut Rhystic Study because I find that my group more often than not decides to pay the extra mana to prevent me from drawing.
I need to add in one or two more basic lands and cut the corresponding number of cards. Any suggestions on what to cut? Any on-theme cards with good utility that I've missed (probably some stuff from Masques block...)?
I know I'm short on graveyard hate and creatures...
I would not take out Rhystic Study just because you are not drawing. It is basically one half of Grand Arbiter: Opponents' spells cost 1 more to play.
I have to agree... Who cares if you don't draw, you are limiting their resources!! If you feel like you need to draw I would swap in Mystic Remora, that is pretty much guaranteed to net some cards mid game.
I was thinking of making a deck around him, too. Basically, bribe other people to attack whoever pisses me off. I bet you can make some nice trades using the advocates; Pulsemage Advocate, Shieldmage Advocate and Spurnmage Advocate. And since they work just as well, or even better, when someone else is using them, remember that the first taste is always free with donate and not all trades are final with Homeward Path.
Arkham, the 1920's. Investigators battle horrors from beyond time and space, risking life and sanity while conspiracies of cultists and malign servitors seek gateways for their outer gods to return...
Soon, the stars will be right! Great Cthulhu shall rise!
Thanks for input so far! I'm not sure if I'm running enough shuffle effects to make Brainstorm worthwhile. I'll probably replace it with Rhystic Study as you guys/girls are right, it still denies opponents resources at the least.
More feedback please!

Shame you're not running red, Illicit Auction would've been funny.

Go ahead and run, you'll only die tired.

It's too bad you don't play more creatures, otherwise Coastal Piracy would be awesome.
Also Stolen Goods and Knowledge Exploitation for flavor.
This list looks pretty fun :3
