Kami is my version of a group-hug deck with several win conditions. General Kami and several artifacts (Anvil, Font, Horn, Mine, Temple) give the table the impression of group-hug. Basic game plan is to play symmetric card draw (opponents tend not to target these since it benefits them as well) and consistent mana drops. When the time is right, i.e. sufficient mana available and/or opponent(s) is/are mostly tapped out, attempt a win condition.
Plan A - Time Walking
Seven reusable (eight total) Time Walk spells after dropping an Anvil/Font of Mythos/Horn of Greed/Howling Mine/Kami to generate card advantage and increasing land drops leading to one of the following:
Paradox Haze would be good for duels. Enchant your opponent and make them draw extra cards/get hit extra times by black vise effects. Not as good in multiplayer though.
I've played a deck like this on MWS before. It was really similar to what you have: draw tons of cards and try to capitalize on them better than your opponent, plus having Vise/Owl to hack away at their life total.
I'd play something like Time Stretch. It's a backbreaking, "I win" spell in the late game and it goes great with your general in drawing extra cards in your extra turns. Taking extra turns is very powerful in EDH.

The extra turns resulting in mass draw to set/secure the win is very appealing. From the current deck list, what appears to be the weakest card in the current strategy to make room for Time Stretch?

Take Possession perhaps? Stealing something is nice, but taking two extra turns is soooooo much better.
Want to add Prosperity #2; thus, I could use one early while setting up the kill. Not sure what to remove... looking at Bribery, Recall or one of the counterspells.
one card you might want to consider is the Inkwell Leviathan (if you do consider this then you might want to throw in the Urzatron as well). You could also probably get away with playing Vesuva (I hear 2 Tolarian Academies is better than 1).

You could switch to Snow-Covered Islands and toss in a Scrying Sheets pretty easily.
Care to explain how this deck works for newbies like me? It looks pretty interesting as Kami is a very unique general.
Switching to Snow-Covered Islands and adding a Scrying Sheets is a great suggestion. However, easier said than done! This deck, like my Sharuum deck, is all foil; and the foil Islands are of the same picture too!
However, getting into position to possibly win is the fun part. Who doesn't like drawing extra cards in EDH? Turn two, Kami is almost guaranteed. Plays as Draw-Go unless you find an Anvil, Howling Mine, Font of Mythos and/or mana accels. I play the stealing spells just enough to defend myself; usually I do not go on the offensive with creatures. This is where politics comes into the game; you have to justify stealing creatures and permanents to others; 8 - 10 stealing spells and 13 - 15 counter effects. Throw in a mid-game Forced Fruition or Memory Erosion with all the draw on board, then drawing extra cards to play is now not so great!
As a connoisseur of fun, interesting matches, I still to this day have not been able to craft that "perfect deck"; the deck that I can play and have fun over time, doesn't get boring, but simultaneously is fun to play against. I honestly don't think it exists. It's like a unicorn. A ninja unicorn.
With everyone running an Eldrazi, it became clear that decking multiple opponents was going to be difficult to impossible. Changes made included more 'borrowing' from your opponents (Acquire, Blatant Thievery, Bribery, and Knowledge Exploitation) and a Time Walk theme (Beacon of Tomorrows, Capture of Jingzhou, Savor the Moment, Temporal Manipulation, Time Stretch, Time Warp, and Walk the Aeons).
With the banning of Tolarian Academy, I had reduced the artifacts to make room for the added sorceries.
Consecrated Sphinx seems like a must for this deck. I've been toying with the idea of building a Kami deck as well for this very interaction. That in conjunction with Archmage Ascension seems bonkers.

The Sphinx seems like an interesting idea; it only has to survive a turn or two to payoff. I will have to try the Sphinx out. However, I am really liking the Ascension enchantment since this deck has many Howling Mine effects and enchantments being more difficult to deal with.
Thanks for the input. I'll update after I get the cards and some games in...

If you just have Kami out, Sphinx is a free Opportunity during each opponent's draw step for as long as he survives. As far as I'm concerned he's worth it even if he only lives to see one draw step since he's essentially a 5 for 1 at that point. His worth becomes almost unprecedented beyond that point.

During casual multi-player EDH games, this deck is pretty fun. Kami has two main paths to victory: One, Black Vise/Ebony Owl/Iron Maiden combined with Anvil of Bogardan with a well timed Sunder; or two, Power Artifact on Basalt Monolith or Grim Monolith creating a colorless mana-loop for you to decide how to win; Prosperity, Staff of Domination, etc.
However, getting into position to possibly win is the fun part. Who doesn't like drawing extra cards in EDH? Turn two, Kami is almost guaranteed. Does Vesuva get around the Legend Rule if it targets my Tolarian Academy? If so, HOT! If not, LD'ing myself two lands... not so hot.
Thinking about adding Arcane Laboratory and Erayo, Soratami Ascendant, however need suggestions on what to remove. Leaning towards removing Meishin, the Mind Cage and Recall.
Thoughts?
What is the 'warning' for? The Multiplayer Forum did not exist when I made the OP.
My thread OP: July 2009
Multiplayer Forum created: November 2009
Can a mod 'fix' this by removing the warning?
No biggie...
Sure, now it's a necro warning instead.
LOL. Really?
I cannot update my own decklist on the thread I started and ask for advise? Please advise on the correct move; start another Kami thread?
A friend of mine actually managed to mill out a whole bunch of us at once with Dreamborn Muse and Rite of Replication. And have you ever tried Trade Secrets with Mind's Eye?
The Dreamborn Muse looks like a great piece for constant milling. I will have to get one of those. Thanks!
Rite of Replication just seems like a fun card to hit any board target. Luckily, I have one already and just need to remove something.
Psychic Possession+Copy Enchantment+Mind's Eye+Hive Mind.
Everybody! Draw more cards!
Driving Stick with Isochron Scepter.
Trinkets and Treasure: An Artificer's Toolbox.
Proc Drops: Playing with One Drops.
Deck Primer: Toshiro Umezawa
That's pretty sick!
Yesterday, a player killed the board with Hive Mind + white pact + red pact + green pact in the same turn. The other four of us just LOL'ed.
